A fab toy, much more than just an aid to early walking (Chicco First Steps Baby Walker)

Advantages: Easy to put together, play tray comes off for more versatility

Disadvantages: Bulky to store, but aren't most toys!

I bought this for my son when he was ten months old. I'd seen them used in his nursery and he loves anything that makes a noise and plays pretend phones with anything remotely phone shaped so this seemed ideal.

This was easy to put together. The play tray at the front comes off easily for floor play time but not so easily that baby can take it off himself. It's brightly coloured and very stable although it should be used under supervision for early walkers (sensible advice for any walker type toy).

The son that used this toy was the earliest to walk of all five of my children by at least a couple of months. The walker gave him the confidence to stride across the living room and helped strengthen his leg muscles ready for independent walking. At 17 months old he still loves this toy and we won't be parting with it for a while yet. He doesn't need it as a walking aid anymore, just loves to push it!

Summary: Highly recommended, has lots of buttons to press and turn. Your lo will love it.
