ELC Baby Active Trampoline
Advantages: Toddlers can bounce til their hearts content
Disadvantages: Need to be aware of height & weight of chidren that use it
I spotted a friend selling one of these on a online selling page so I brought it from her for my daughter who totally loves to bounce. I had kind of hoped that having her own trampoline then she'd stop using my bed as one but it still gets used to bounce on along with the trampoline. Obviously I don't mean the trampoline on the bed lol.
These trampolines are from the Early learning centre. I can't see this exact one on there but similar ones are priced £35-£45. This to me seems quite a lot when you can get the big garden ones for less then £100 these days.
This trampoline I'd say is suitable for 1-3 years old. My older son sometimes has a bounce on it but I'm sure he's going to go straight through it one day. Also he is taller and heavier and it does start to tip if he leans too much forward.
As the picture shows it has a pretty trim around it which is mainly for decor purposes. It has velcro fastening on it so can be taken off for cleaning if needed. It has a waterproof type material which would mean it would be safe left outside in the rain a couple times but wouldn't recommend leaving it outside long as I'm sure it would start to rust.
Each of the four legs have chunky rubber stoppers on them. The handle is covered with a rubber non slip grip handle. Also this would protect their head slightly if to bang it rather then straight onto the metal part.
The actual bouncy part is a fine mesh and holds my daughter fine and she happily bounces on it. I personally think she still prefers the bed though as on the trampoline you have to stay in one place on it. The outer part of the mesh which you can see in the picture which is green has a little bit of padding in it.
This has made home in my daughters bedroom and I tend to keep it against the wall so she is bouncing facing the wall, so if she did tip forward it she isn't going to fall anywhere neither is she.
In my opinion this is a good buy for me at £3 but for £45 I'm not so sure.
Summary: Pretty trampoline with safety measures on it like rubber non slip handle.
