You can also use this gym as just a play mat as the sides can be taken down and the arch removed. I really liked the different elements of the mat. It was full of different colours and textures for a baby to explore with opening panels too. When my son was born he really did love his baby gym and got a lot of use out of it. Even from a very young age, he was really interested in th...more

When I was pregnant, the company I was working for at the time had a collection for me and asked what I would like for my baby. I told them I would like a baby gym as I already had many other items for my baby. I was given one from the Early Learning Centre which I was pleased with as I know they do good quality toys that aren't likely to break or fall apart easily. My first impressions of this baby gym were positive ones. I was really impressed with the look of the baby gym. It was really bright and colourful and really soft too so baby wouldn't be uncomfortable lying on the mat. This gym is quite versatile. It has two sides to it which can be ...  Read the complete review

My daughter loved it (260 words)

I wanted to get my daughter a nice baby gym when she was born as my son had one of the old fashioned ones with legs that fell off and toys that didn't swing very well. So I looked round the shops nearby and found this one in the Early Learning Centre. It was around £30.00 and has flashing lights on it with animal sounds. It has lots of bright colours to keep the babies attention and lots for them to do. On one side there is a detachable rattle. it is a monkey with legs and arms that click onto the side of gym and in its belly are some bananas that rattle. So your child can either hit the rattle whilst it is attached or play with it completely ...  Read the complete review

I decided to purchase my baby a gym whilst I was pregnant, and decided upon a gymfrom the Early Learning Centre. At first I thought it might be one of those things that youmight not get that much use out of, but my opinion soon changed. My little boy had no end of fun with it even from a very early age. As a small baby he used to enjoy lieing under it andlooking at the bright colours and all the animals moving about. As he got older he used to enjoymoving all the animals with his hands and feet and used to spend alot of time playing with it.I particularly liked the ELC Gym because it was bright, colourful and at a reasonable price. If ...  Read the complete review

We got the ELC mat when my daughter was about 2 weeks old and she's been fascinated by it ever since! The animals on it (4) all are different colours, textures, and have rattles, crunchy feet, etc. The mat itself has all the letters of the alphabet and numbers 1-10 also in bright colours with pictures of animals for each letter. The animals and 1 mirror on the activity mat also can be taken off for your use elsewhere. We've put them on the handle to her car seat, in front of her on her swing, and pretty much anywhere she is. She just loves it... and we're getting lots of smiles and squeals from her when she's in it! ...  Read the complete review

ELC Baby Gym: Jungle gym (156 words)

My friend went for a jungle theme to her nursery, so this was the ideal leaving gift for her. The gym is bright and colourful with soft jungle animals that can be unhooked from the frame. This gym has its own mat and can be stored in a clear plastic bag for easy transport (although I understand Robert likes it so much it has never been dismantled). The toys are good quality velour and they crinkle or squeek or rattle when the baby touches them. The mat is brightly coloured and can be used on its own. The nice thing about shopping in the ELC is that they are well accustomed to "baby showers" and the kind assistant was quite happy to count all the change ...  Read the complete review
