Advantages: WELL DESIGNED AND FUN FOR TODDLERS.
Disadvantages: DOES OUTGROW IT'S USE BEFORE THE AGE OF 3.
I bought this trampoline for my daughter from the early learning centre as one of her Christmas presents when she was 18 months old. She had fallen in love with her cousin's trampoline and had to be practically prised from it every time we visited. So me and my husband decided to get her one for Christmas.
The early learning centre trampoline appealed to me as it looked so sturdy and well made. It has a thick rail which helped my daughter to maintain her balance whilst bouncing. This rail was the perfect height in order for her to hold tightly. The trampoline is only slightly raised from the floor which offers peace of mind for anxious mums and dads. I know it certainly made me feel more at ease.
I was quite impressed with the minimal amount of room that this trampoline takes up. It is also quite light in wieght and I found it easy to transport from inside to outdoors.
When we bought this trampoline, we had to assemble it when we got home. Now my husband is a really handy bloke and found no problem putting this together. But I have to admit if it was up to me Id still be there now. I found it very complicated, despite it claiming to be easy to assemble. I think it's easy if you are handy but otherwise you may have a few issues with the instructions, which weren't entirely straight forward.
Although this trampoline is described as being from age 1-3, From my experience, my daughter had outgrown it's use by 30 months. She was ready for more of a bouncy challenge. And wanted something bigger and slightly more daring. However, this elc trampoline served well for her brother and lasted whilst maintaining excellent condition.
This trampoline is brilliant value. I paid around £20 and know I was happy with the price. It is sturdy and well made for the cost and the materials and standard of the trampoline is what I would expect from the early learning centre. As I strongly feel this store is a shop I can trust to provide me with safe and well made toys. The only drawback is the slight rocking which occurs when the trampoline is being bounced on.
My children really enjoyed using this trampoline and looking back, I feel it really helped them to improve their coordination and strength in their legs. I also feel it gave them a sense of independence as they were able to bounce unaided on this trampoline in safety. Also they were able to confidently get on and off the trampoline themselves, which again promoted their independence.
The colour of the trampoline we had was very pretty and was great as it was neither specific for boys or girls. Therefore both my children could use it without any problems. I loved the lemon colour of the surrounding edge of the trampoline. However this did tend to become a little tired and faded after being outdoors. However, I found this easy to remove and put in the washing machine when it was looking a little gruby.
I really do feel this is a perfect gift for a small child. It offers fun and excitement whilst also allowing the child to explore and develop their large motor skills and balance. But most importantly I feel that this trampoline is well made and safe and has no sharp edges or hidden hazards. Which obviously is of vital importance. So in conclusion, I would certainly advise this trampoline to anyone.
The trampoline itself offered a great degree of bounce. which I feel worked well to cushion the strain on my little ones legs.
Summary: BOUNCY FUN FOR YOUR LITTLE ONE.
