After discovering that my son was not keen on his swing, I needed a quick solvent to pacify him. At £25 and with bold colours this bouncer not only suited my budget but was easily assembled and readily available. Despite purchasing on a wimb, it was a fantastic buy. For £25 you get a godsend for 30mins to get your ironing done, the hovering, write Christmas cards, anything. The vibration option is a winner for a longer break as my son drifts off quite calmly to this and me rocking it with my foot. It comes complete with a toy bar, 3 removable toys which also duplicate as teethers, and like I say the vibration feature also (which uses batteries like you wouldn't believe). I used this until my baby was approx. 6 months. I remember once that he actually rocked this over, and this is how I knew 6 months was time for him to give it up and move on to a door bouncer! I would recommend
Wonderful! Dark blue in colour, with funky brightly coloured pictures of animals covering it. There is a zebra striped toy bar with rattle and teethers hanging off it. My baby son was mesmorised by these, although we didn't always have the bar on because once he got the hang of hitting out at them, they would swing too close to his face for my liking. They couldnt hit him in the face at all, but it's not really something you want to leave on permanently else you are trying to talk to your child through the toys. The fabulous thing about this item was it vibrated baby to sleep! I could also sit on the sofa, with my foot on the end, gently bouncing my son. The safety strap and little blue attached cover ensured baby was snug and warm and most importantly - safe! It was definately a bargain price. I think i paid about £20 for it. With having my 3rd child who is coming up to 2 now, (I have 2 teenagers also) I wanted to stick with the same kind of design that my other two children had. Purely because I liked sitting on the sofa gently bouncing them with my foot. This was still in keeping with the traditional rockers, but the added vibrate made it just perfect!
I bought this bouncer when we had our first daughter as we had bought a simple Winnie thne Pooh one but found it was too high backed and she loved it. The bouncer is not too upright like we found the previous one to be meaning that the baby is comfortable in it from birth which is the age it is supposed to be suitable from. The seat is blue material with brightly colour animals on it, it is padded for extra comfort and has a soft cover attached to pull up over baby when they fall asleep. The washer is removeable and can be machine washed. There are 2 straps on the bouncer that come around the babies middle and fasten into a section that comes up between the babies legs, these straps do actually go small enough for a little baby whereas alot don't. The bouncer comes with a bar that can be attached on either side and has 3 plastic animals hanging from it which correspond to the animals on the fabric of the seat. Each animal is attached to the bar by velcro so once the baby is a bit stronger they can pull the animals off the bar to play with them. We used the toy bar from around 4 weeks and our daughter loved it when we bounced the bouncer and therefore made the toys move. The seat also has a vibrate function to help settle baby. This seat is definately worth the money, it withstood my first daughter for about 8 months and is now being used for our second daughter, the chair is still as good as it was when we first bought it and I would imagine being able to even pass this on when we have finished.
I went out and bought this bouncer after finding out that my newborn baby hated his swing and it was a fantastic decision. I paid about £25 for this bouncer which I think is a great price as it does everthing I would want. It vibrates and has a nice toy bar and the added bonus with this bouncer is that it comes with a lovely soft fleect blanket which I think is a really lovely touch and is very useful. The blanket was great when my son got a bit bigger as he would try to kick the blanket off but because it was attached it meant he didn't get cold as he couldn't kick it off completely. I also like the colour of this bouncer as it is a lovely deep blue and so is really suitable for boys. When I first saw the box of this bouncer I didn't think it looked very strurdy as from the picture the legs of it look very thin but having used I can't fault it and it is very sturdy and well made and after using it every day it still looks like new. This bouncer is perfect and my baby loved it and easily went to sleep in it when it was vibrate and it definately seemed to relax him. It is also very easy to bounce and I spent quite a lot of time doing it with my foot. This bouncer was a lifesaver for me as my baby did not like to put down but in this he felt happy and secure and enjoyed looking at the toys on the arch. This bouncer says suitable up to 6 months and I found that to be the case as just before my baby turned 6 month he managed to turn it over while he was in it so I had to stop using it. There are more expensive bouncers out there but I think this is such a good price and does everything you need for a baby. I would say that this was one of my best baby buys and I would definately recommend it to everyone.
I would like to start with this bouncer is fantastic. Its fisher price and i bought mine from Argos for £21.99. It is a navy blue and has bright pictures of little cats dos and birds on it. To put the bouncer together was very very simple. It comes with very clear instructions and i had it put together in around 5 minutes. The cover can be removed easily and is machine washable so when it becomes a little grubby its easily cleaned. There is a safety strap to hold your child in safely, also there is an attached blanket that is perfect for keeping the child snug and when not it use can be tucked away in to a little pocket at the bottom of the bouncer. The bouncer has a vibration function which requires one 'D' battery this can be turned on or off by a button at the foot of the bouncer. Unlike allot of other bouncers i have used this does not sit too high for a new born. It seems to have the correct balance for comfort and safety. The bouncer comes with a soft toybar with 3 removable toys and teethers. When they knock the little bird toy the bird swings round on its perch the others act as rattles which your baby can hold. The colors are very bright to stimulate your child sight senses. I would recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a bouncer for there baby it looks lovely materials feel lovely for your child and it is well made. Its easily put together and easy to clean.
I was expecting my first child in a few weeks time and me being me left everything to the last minute. You know what it is like when you're due to have your baby, you can't be bothered to go shopping and be surrounded by the crowds at the shopping mall. So I picked up the ARGOS book and started looking through the list of things that I needed. Baring in mind that when you have a child is it all one big expense I was looking for something that looked nice, suitable, safe, and cheap. That is there I came across this wonderful Fishers Price cover and play bouncer. When I bought this item it was a new product in the catalogue it was £19.99. Today's price from ARGOS is £26.99. Although that it is more expensive than when I bought it I think it is still a great price for the product and if I was to have another I wouldn't hesitate to pay the extra to buy it again. The bouncer is a dark blue, with brightly coloured small pictures of animals going across in stripes. There is a removable toy bar with teethers. There are 3 toys on the bar an orange tiger, yellow bird, and blue elephant. All toys are brightly coloured to catch the baby's attention and keep them amused while they are in their chair. The bouncer also vibrates to sooth the baby to sleep. In my opinion I think it reminds them of when they are in your arms rocking them back and forth giving them that comfort. The most important thing that I feel you should know about this product is that when you sit your baby in this bouncer there is a safety strap that hold them in safely. There is no way that you baby will fall out. Also I have found out that after having my second child, that with some bouncers that you child's head can fall to the side and hang off the bouncer. Although this product does not have a head rest to hold your child's head in place this product is specially designed to save this from happening. There is also a blanket that is attached to the bouncer so when your child gets cold there is no need to leave your baby unattended while you go find cover. I think that this is a great idea and many other bouncers should have them. It is specially designed that when your child is cold and you put the cover over the top of them where it is sewed onto the bottom of the bouncer there is a height limit as to where the cover ends which means that it is not going to go over your babies face. While you are not using the blanket there is a little bag underneath the bouncer where the blanket is attached that you just fold the blanket underneath and tuck it into the pouch provided. I would recommend this product to anybody that is due to have a baby or has just had one. It is safe, eye catching, reasonable priced, and most importantly the babies love it. Well I can't speak for anybody else but my daughter loved it. Although the bouncer is blue and I had a little girl it did not matter to me as I knew that this was the bouncer that was the best one that I could ask for especially for the price. I would rate this product 10/10 and would highly recommend it. Thank you for taking the time in reading my review I hope it was of some use to you.
I bought this bouncer for my baby when he was one month old and its a firm favorite. It is simple to assemble, you just slot the metal poles included together and screw in the toy bar holders and the rubber soles to stop it from slipping on smooth surfaces. It reclines according to your child's weight and creates a shallow nest as such. You can then easily slide on the bouncer material which is soft and padded, with the micro fleece blanket attached. It takes 1 large size battery that will last about a week, depending on usage. It vibrates quietly and gently. The toy bar slots smoothly and firmly into its holders and has Velcro tabs, allowing you to put any toys you choose on it, with links. It comes with three toys also. The black and white is very eye catching for babies and stimulating, in very easy reach. I have found it is great for soothing tired babies, and even babies that may be a bit reluctant to feed, especially when they reach the age they want to be looking about a lot more.
This is one of the best friends of all new borns. I was gifted one from my sister and the gift turned out to be a real blessing. The bouncer calms a cranky baby and puts her to sleep real soon. You can either bounce it manually while putting the baby to sleep or turn on the automatic vibrator that works with a D battery. I found this bouncer extremely portable for I moved it around the house and placed it wherever I wanted my baby stationed. I would recommend this bouncer to anyone looking for a safe place to put a baby to play or sleep. The bouncer comes with a toy bar (that can be removed) to amuse a satisfied baby. The inclined position of the bouncer keeps the baby away from troubles like colic and discomfort. The best part of this bouncer is that one can bounce it with the force of a foot while reading a book or watching a movie. A great buy indeed !
This is a lovely Fisher-Price bouncer that you can buy from Argos for £21.99. It is suitable from birth to 6 months. The bouncer is unisex it is blue, but we used it for our girls when they were born, so I don't think the colour affects the sex it is for. The bouncer comes with an attached little fleecy blanket with satin around the edges. I think having an attached blanket is great as if your child tries to kick it off then it doesn't fall off, and if they don't want it on then it can go underneath it. It is also good as if you take the bouncer to your friend's house, and your baby falls asleep in it you can just pull the blanket up. The bouncer has a built in vibration function which requires one 'D' battery you don't have to have the vibrations on if you don't want to. But quite often the calm vibration will send your child to sleep either that or it will entertain them and it is said to help relieve colic. The actual bouncer itself is made out of very soft material and the covers can be removed and washed. The legs of the bouncer are also very firm but allow the baby gentle movement if it bounces itself. The bouncer comes with a removable toy bar that goes in front of the baby. The main toy bar is covered in fabric stopping your child from hurting them selves. There are three toys attached to the bar that can easily be taken off if your child wants to play with them as there just attached by a Velcro strap. The toys themselves can add great entertainment for your baby. When they knock the little bird toy the bird swings round on its perch the others act as rattles which your baby can hold. Overall I think this is a very safe fun bouncer for your child. It will keep have them using there sight, sound and touch as they reach out for the toys. I agree with the age it says the bouncer is suitable for as if your baby stays in it over 6months then the weight of your baby will cause it to tip backwards.
Suitable from birth. The soft toybar is detachable with 3 removable toys and teethers. Keep baby snug with the attached micro fleece blanket.
