I was expecting my first child in a few weeks time and me being me left everything to the last minute. You know what it is like when you're due to have your baby, you can't be bothered to go shopping and be surrounded by the crowds at the shopping mall. So I picked up the ARGOS book and started looking through the list of things that I needed. Baring in mind that when you have a child is it all one big expense I was looking for something that looked nice, suitable, safe, and cheap. That is there I came across this wonderful Fishers Price cover and play bouncer. When I bought this item it was a new product in the catalogue it was £19.99. ... Read the complete review

This is a lovely Fisher-Price bouncer that you can buy from Argos for £21.99. It is suitable from birth to 6 months. The bouncer is unisex it is blue, but we used it for our girls when they were born, so I don't think the colour affects the sex it is for. The bouncer comes with an attached little fleecy blanket with satin around the edges. I think having an attached blanket is great as if your child tries to kick it off then it doesn't fall off, and if they don't want it on then it can go underneath it. It is also good as if you take the bouncer to your friend's house, and your baby falls asleep in it you can just pull the blanket up. The bouncer ... Read the complete review

This is one of the best friends of all new borns. I was gifted one from my sister and the gift turned out to be a real blessing. The bouncer calms a cranky baby and puts her to sleep real soon. You can either bounce it manually while putting the baby to sleep or turn on the automatic vibrator that works with a D battery. I found this bouncer extremely portable for I moved it around the house and placed it wherever I wanted my baby stationed. I would recommend this bouncer to anyone looking for a safe place to put a baby to play or sleep. The bouncer comes with a toy bar (that can be removed) to amuse a satisfied baby. The inclined position of the bouncer keeps ... Read the complete review

I bought this bouncer for my baby when he was one month old and its a firm favorite. It is simple to assemble, you just slot the metal poles included together and screw in the toy bar holders and the rubber soles to stop it from slipping on smooth surfaces. It reclines according to your child's weight and creates a shallow nest as such. You can then easily slide on the bouncer material which is soft and padded, with the micro fleece blanket attached. It takes 1 large size battery that will last about a week, depending on usage. It vibrates quietly and gently. The toy bar slots smoothly and firmly into its holders and has Velcro tabs, allowing you to ... Read the complete review
