Advantages: Looks good

Disadvantages: No seat adjuster, bulky plastic bit where babies feet reach

I had this bought for my second Daughter when she was born. I had chosen it and was excited to use it. It is suitable from birth to 12 months.

We had to assemble it which I found quite difficult as you had to slot the metal rods into eachother which was tough. Once you had made it up, you can't undo it either, the metal rods were not going to budge, so we couldn't get it back into it's original box once we didn't need it anymore. Maybe we had a dodgy one?

It looks great and the music is nice and soothing, it has eight tunes and they're not annoying, you can have it at three different volume settings. It has a vibration function which you can turn on and off with or without the music. I did not use the vibration much as it seemed to vibrate too much and was worried it wouldn't be any good for my baby.

The bouncer has a removeable activity bar which has rattles and chimes, in the middle is a bird that spins around when you pull the side toys.

The seat is well padded and easily washed. It has a three point adjustable safety belt.

I personally didn't get on with this bouncer and didn't use it long. The plastic section where the batteries (1 x D battery and 3 x AA batteries) are kept and where the settings are is quite chunky and my Daughter would hurt her feet on it when kicking.

If she fell asleep and the toy bar was up one movement and it would startle her as the toys would make a noise.

You can't adjust the seat to go up or down either.

Summary: Maybe better for older babies
