“ Brand: Fisher Price / Type: Activity Gyms „
My last baby was a bit of a night mare and demanded a lot more attention than my previous two babies had, he wanted constant attention and whilst I was happy to give it to him I had two other children to look after so whilst shopping in my local toys r us I decided to buy the kick and drive gym in the hopes that it would keep him occupied, and I must say it did.
It is a brightly coloured toy in red, white, yellow and blue. It plays five songs on a loop or you can put hem on individually. It is an arch shape witch goes over the baby and there is a steering wheel with four lights in it which light up in time with the tunes to keep baby occupied. There is a roller with bright pictures of cars on it which if hit by baby rewards him by playing the music again, there is also a yellow kick plate at the back and again when kicked the music and lights will play.
There are toys dangling down for baby to bat at which look like keys to carry on the car theme. As baby gets bigger you just press two buttons on the side and push the top down and you have a sit up play car for him to play with, The dangly toys can be removed and my little boy used to use them as car keys and the light up feature becomes the steering wheel. He used to play with it regularly up until he was just about two so it wasn't a bad buy, and just today when I dug it out to have a good look for this review he is sat happily playing with it again, at nearly three.
The only thing against this toy that I can think about is that it is very big and doesn't fold down apart from making it a bit shorter which doesn't really help with storage, so maybe not the toy for you if you have a small house.

I had a baby in September 2008 and was looking for a baby gym that was suitable for a newborn and would last a bit longer than a month or two.
I was in my local Toys R Us when i stumbled across this, the FISHER PRICE KICK AND DRIVE GYM. I wasn't sure at first, but when i had a good look i saw what a good deal it is.
It can encourage the baby's movements and converts from a floor gym to a sit up gym.
It has 5 songs which can be activated by kicking the bottom foot part, pushing the buttons or pulling on the detachable rattles. It also has a constant mode.
As the baby grows, it's easy to convert it from a floor gym to the sit up and drive mode. My baby has just got to this stage and loves the fact that everytime he pushes a button or turns the steering wheel, it plays music and lights up!!
The only thing i have found a bit disappointing is that on the box it says it is easily stored as it folds up. although it does fold it is only into a lowered position not entirely in half, which is a problem if you do not have much space.
The Kick & Drive Gym encourages baby's natural movements with dancing lights, brilliant reflections, music and spinning motion. Five happy songs keep baby entertained. As your little one grows, it's easy to convert it from a floor gym to the sit up and drive! mode. Then baby is in the driver's seat, turning the steering wheel for three traveling songs, fun car sounds, lights and magical motion. It's fundamental play that enriches baby's development in a brilliant way!
