Advantages: Grows with the child, has a variety of things to do
Disadvantages: Is a bit bulky to have lying around
I had a baby in September 2008 and was looking for a baby gym that was suitable for a newborn and would last a bit longer than a month or two.
I was in my local Toys R Us when i stumbled across this, the FISHER PRICE KICK AND DRIVE GYM. I wasn't sure at first, but when i had a good look i saw what a good deal it is.
It can encourage the baby's movements and converts from a floor gym to a sit up gym.
It has 5 songs which can be activated by kicking the bottom foot part, pushing the buttons or pulling on the detachable rattles. It also has a constant mode.
As the baby grows, it's easy to convert it from a floor gym to the sit up and drive mode. My baby has just got to this stage and loves the fact that everytime he pushes a button or turns the steering wheel, it plays music and lights up!!
The only thing i have found a bit disappointing is that on the box it says it is easily stored as it folds up. although it does fold it is only into a lowered position not entirely in half, which is a problem if you do not have much space.
Summary: Good buy
