I bought this for my baby daughter when she was around four months old - so just learning to sit up herself and holding her
own weight. When I took it out of the box to build it I actually found it quite complicated to put together, blowing up the tyre is easy but the "rainbow" that goes over the nest would not go together! Each one is two plastic tubes that are meant to slot in to each other and bend over but no matter how hard I tried they would just fall apart and not stay together! Very frustrating! It took about an hour of fiddling about with them to realise that it wasn't going to open and I gave up. I kept the ring out and the rest got stashed away in the loft. The ring itself is very good, very comfortable for baby to sit in as it is all padded. It is also very good for a baby that isn't able to sit fully upright by itself, it kind of gives them a whole new dimension when they are sitting there themselves! The colours are very bright on it and it has lots of different textures like the furry sheep, the squeaking duck and shiny butterfly, plenty to keep them entertained. All in all a good buy I would say for a six month old but the bits that go over the top of it are useless!
