Advantages: washable, range of development skills, Makes my child laugh

Disadvantages: Arch on gym can collapse when strong little hands pull on it to stand up, but this should not disway people., dog finds it great to curl up in.

First saw this example when I fell pregnant and prefered it over some of the others that are on the market due to its bright colours, textile characters and squeaky duck bill. I believe that the mixture of activites for a child to explore and learn through are excellent. They range from soft sheep through to a crunchy scarecrow tie.

We bought the version with the baby gym that sits over the nest. The gym is built like a teepee arching over the nest yet attacthed to it via cotton loops that are situated around the sides of the play nest. The legs of the gym slide into these. There are numerous loops along the frame work arch set at differing heights. The height range is versatile to allow the child to continue playing when they can sit up right, yet have a setting that is low enough to allow a new born to learn about stretching up wards. On these arch supports you can attatch the stuffed cotton toys that come with the nest some rattle and others like the sun play a tune when they are pressed.Even now at 8 months our son still enjoys the sun and the tune you are my sunshine.

It is easy to construct with an inner blow up tube that sits inside a cotton cover. This has a zip on it so is machine washable at 40c. It is light to carry when inflated and does not tip over easily.

Our son has just learnt to crawl and so is now finding escaping from it great fun and also climbing in it fun. Still it has lasted him well as he used it from 1 week old and has still not tired of it.

I would reccommend to anyone. It gives a child what I would call safe independance. They can sit in it and play by their selves, look up and show off to parents. But until they can crawl cannot go any where!!!!!
