I have bought a product very similar than this for my son. We have this particular product at the childcare centre where I work. My son is not quite sitting up on his own but he is betting frustrated when lying down. An activity ring is ideal for him, as I sit him in the middle leaning up the side for support, with his ... I bought this from a local toy shop for £28.99 (I know they are roughly priced 22-30) as I wanted something for my then 6month old child to help with sitting up - as we preiviously had a flat floor mat and I felt that we now needed to progress! The ring is easy to put together as it is just an inflatable ring and a cover. Once put up the ... Read the complete review

We have just dug our galt playnest out of the attic to lend to our friend who has recently had a baby. We have had this since our 1st child was born 6 years ago and couldnt have coped without it at times. It consists of a blow up ring that you put inside a material ring that is made of cotton and has a zip in the side to insert ... Read the complete review

Just before having my second child I was out shopping for all those little baby things to fill the house up with. When looking at floor mats and play gyms I wanted something different. My eldest had a flat mat with toys that hung above him. I saw the Galt Playnest and immediately fell in love. It was that something different I'd been looking for. ... Read the complete review

This is one of those bits of baby equipment that is really, really, really useful for about 3 months. Then it gathers dust until the next baby (or in our case, does the rounds of all our friends' babies until we needed it for our next one!). It's known as the doughnut in our house. It is a big inflatable ring which fits inside a fabric ... Read the complete review

I have the Galt playnest but I also have the gym arches that go over the top. I think it has been one of best things we have got for baby. He is now 7 months and we still use it every day. Due to it's success there is an unused baby bouncer seat in our house! I inflate the rubber ring which is easiest if you do it when it is inside the ... Read the complete review

I purchased the Galt Playnest when my baby was around 5 months old. I wasnt going to buy one at first but after visiting a freinds one day and seeing how much her little girl loved her playnest I decided I would buy one. I think these are around £15 in the shops but I purchased mine from Ebay for £4, it was in fantastic ... Read the complete review

The galt playnest is essentially a big inflatable ring covered in soft fabric with extra soft material toys/ animals etc attached to it to provide sensory stimulation to baby while being a comfortable environment for baby to lie in. Its brightly coloured so appeals to babies who always like bright and colourful objects but in my ... Read the complete review

When I was pregnant, I saw a lot of bits and pieces in the shops that I really wanted to buy, but didn't because I lot of it would have been surplus to what we needed and more than likely a waste of money. The Galt play nest is available with and without an overhead gym. We already had two baby gyms so decided we would like one without the ... Read the complete review

First saw this example when I fell pregnant and prefered it over some of the others that are on the market due to its bright colours, textile characters and squeaky duck bill. I believe that the mixture of activites for a child to explore and learn through are excellent. They range from soft sheep through to a crunchy scarecrow tie. We ... Read the complete review

I had wanted to get a playnest from when I fell pregnant because I thought it looked so wonderful. I knew I couldn't afford one with prices starting from £25.00 to £40.00 with the gym attached. So imagine my delight when my very kind mother-in-law returned with one whilst out shopping for some bits for me when my dear son was just a couple of ... Read the complete review

There are two version of the playnest - the simple nest and the one with a baby gym attached. I bought the one with the gym although I would advise other parents to go for the simpler model. A play nest is basically an inflated ring that is covered with fabric. Baby can sit or lie in the middle of the ring in safety and fully supported. ... Read the complete review

I first came across this product when Charlotte was learning to sit up on her own. Mooching round Mothercare one day I saw this and thought it would be ideal to sit Charlotte in so she could play. Also it would stop my cushions getting soggy, puked on etc etc. Basically it is a ring which baby sits in, or rolls about in without coming ... Read the complete review
