We bought this fun-rock when my now 2 year old was a tiny baby, quite a while ago for a toy and boy did he love it! but it's still going strong and my little girl is just about raking up the benefits of it now. The age suitability is 6months and above but my little girl who is 5months is fine in it, my little boy roughly the same age when he first started using it. I think so long as the baby is fully holding his/her head and supporting their own body relatively well then they can go in it for short supervised periods of time. Having read all the dire warnings about baby walkers I decided not to get one. (I heard one paediatritian compared giving your baby a walker to giving your 13 year old son a ferrari.) But at the same time my baby was desperate to sit up and play which she was not able to do at 4 months. lets see where to start priced at £69.79 in Argos but can be brought a lot cheaper on eBay, it requires 4 AA batteries which can also be brought in Argos for £3.29 but im sure you could get them cheaper else where, the recommended age is 6 months and over but both my girls started using this toy at around four month's as they were quite big and capable of holding there head and body themselves. I have to say that I agree whole-heartedly with Medusa. The Graco Fun Rock is a godsend! MY 7 month old son has been in his for about 2 months now and we both love it! Mine was from Tesco Direct and came without the add-on Sound bit...shame really I thought, but having read the other review, maybe not! Jake loves to spin the little balls on their pole and he's teething too so he loves chewing and spinning the sticking up red disk.
