Advantages: Gives all the mommy's and daddy's five minutes peace.
Disadvantages: could be more songs and lights
lets see where to start priced at £69.79 in Argos but can be brought a lot cheaper on eBay, it requires 4 AA batteries which can also be brought in Argos for £3.29 but im sure you could get them cheaper else where, the recommended age is 6 months and over but both my girls started using this toy at around four month's as they were quite big and capable of holding there head and body themselves.
Its very easy and simple to put up and take down its easy to carry if you wanted to move it about from one place to another and when taken down it can go quite small considering its size when its all up right
Its features then...
The seat in the middle is bright and colourful, bright blue with various coloured designs it will rotate 360 degrees if as your baby turns it turns but your baby will need to be able touch the floor to turn around. It also has a locking system to keep the seat in place if you give your baby a snack or somet.
It can also be a rocker if you push the little yellow clips at the bottom up it will be able to rock a little as the baby moves when there pushed down it will make it steady on the floor unable to move around at all so you know it's safe.
It has nine toys each helping stimulate and encourage your baby
1, a small yellow star which when pressed lights up and plays the tune of twinkle twinkle little star.
2 and 3, two brightly coloured rattles an octopus and a fish.
4, A large red crab which squeaks when pushed down a little nosy but the kids love this one,
5, there's a crab in a plastic type dome doesn't actually do much but nice for baby to look at,
6, there's a plastic ball that spins around with a ship in the centre and lots of little balls which make noise when you spin,
7, there's a green sort of worm with little rings around hes body which can be moved backwards and forwards,
8 a sort of mirror not glass just a sort of reflective foil baby can see themselves in and
9, a small orange seal that when pressed squeaks.
I would recommend this toy as it gives you as the parent five minutes to yourself with out having to worry about whether baby's hurting them self. It also helps stimulate baby's development, hand eye co-ordination and listening.
The only thing I could think of to improve this activity station would be for it to have more sounds, music and instrumental sounds and more lights I'd still say it's worth the £69.79 in Argos and defiantly worth it if you can get it for cheaper of eBay.
Summary: brilliant product wirth every penny

- 03/09/08 Sounds like a good thing to invest in with young babies. Just wanted to point out I saw some grammatical and spelling errors in your review. x |
