The playpen cleans nicely (split a white coffee all over it once and only needed a damp cloth with a little detergent on) and both my daughters have been happy to use it. This is a wonderful play pen. Made in light wood (with a plastic wipe clean mat at the bottom)it looks nice and open and baby can easily see out and around. It has 3 teething "beads" at one side (that I must say none of my girls ever have paid the slightest bit of attention) and it is sturdy and nice looking.
