This is probably the most used baby item we have bought to date and was worth every penny.

I first saw these in Mothercare when our daughter was first born and assumed they were the alternatives to baby walkers, but with a £89.99 price tag at the time, probably wouldnt of bought one.

A few weeks later whilst browsing a boot sale I saw one for sale, the stall holder wanted £35 for it which I thought was pretty steep, especially as our baby was too young for one but my husband wanted it as it would be the first thing our baby had bought from a boot sale!

It looks a little like a space ship and as soon as we got it home, cleaned it and put batteries in, our daughter LOVED it. At first we would sit her on our knee and press the buttons, then she liked standing on the outside of it, then eventually as she got big enough we started putting her in.

It take 3 x AA batteries, rotates 360 degrees, rocks from side to side and has five different activities around the top.

The first is a colourful keyboard with lights, depending on which setting you are using it will either count up and down to 5, say the colour of the keys or play various songs.

The second activity is traffic light looking and although it doesnt do anything, my daughter spent many hours eating this.

The third activity is a silver disco ball which can be spun around or pressed down to play various songs and light the keyboard up.

The forth activity is a plastic book, turning the pages sets off different noises but also controls the setting of the other activities.

The final activity is a DJ deck which I have to say is my favorite, it has a turntable which spins the record, makes a scratching noise and sings the ABC song or plays three different tunes, again depending on which 'page' the book is turned to. The decks also has a little flap and clicking volume switch. One thing I must say is that my daughter once got her tiny finger trapped in the hinge of the flap which i thought was quite bad design.

It has a couple of different height settings, and unlike the Rainforest Jumparoo meant my baby could use it straight away as the first setting is quite low. The other side of it is that my baby soon outgrew it as the highest setting isnt very high and although I do occasionally pop my daughter in it for 2 minutes she is far too big for it, from memory we stopped using this around 9 months.

I beleive that using this daily helped my daughter develop her core muscles, strength and balance very early, and as such, she has been a early sitter, crawler and walker.

I would give this 10 stars if i could, get one!!
