This brightly coloured, flower shaped playmat has three detachable toys and plays two tunes when the petals on the mat are pressed. It also is padded and has a raised back support hence the name sit and snuggle play mat. It sounds great so why only give it one star. Firstly the actual mat area is quite small, my daughter only fitted on the central piece until about 8 weeks old then she needed her head propped up on the raised petals or her feet were hanging over the edge. I was given one ot these play gyms for my six week old boy & am on the whole unimpressed. On the plus side the gym is super soft and snuggly, meaning baby is comfortable & supported which is good (if like mine) your baby happens to fall asleep while playing. There aren't a great deal of activities (compared to such as fisher price, tiny love or baby einstein gyms), but just watching the dangly toys is enough to keep small babies amused anyway. On the downside, this gym doesn't satisfy now that my little boy is 14 weeks old - he likes to kick energetically at the bar, and being only a single bar, the whole thing collapses over leaving him frustrated.
