We got this for our son for Christmas, as he is only 6 moths old. I was attracted to it as it has 7 stages, so goes from 6months-3 years, so thought it would last him a long time. Unfortunatly, most of the 7 stages are already not needed, and we are using it as a trekker with arm support bars(we only have one stage left which is trekker without arm support bars) Technically, its not really 7 stages, as most of them are only slight variations, so thats a bit misleading. However, apart from all of this, I dont want to down the product in any way, I must say this is a great item, and our son loves it. Its very easy to assemble, and looks great with its bright colours. ... Read the complete review

This is a great toy that grows with your child through different stages. To be described as 7 in 1 is a little misleading I guess as some of the stages are for example. just removing the front music box. However, it is still a good long-life toy! It starts as a rocker for younger babies (6 months plus), however, it doesn't really have a big rocking motion. My son more enjoyed just sitting in it and playing with the buttons at this age. By then removing the blue footrest/ rocking panels it turns into a push-along car, with a handle for the parent to use to push the child along in the car. The handle was a good height, however the whole car is a little ... Read the complete review

My partner bought the Mothercare 7 in 1 Trekker about a month ago. At the time it was on special offer, reduced from £59.99 to £44.99. It is available in two colour schemes, one typically feminine and the other typically masculine. The 'boys' one is the one pictured above. I personally really like this toy. It has a removable music unit, which my son often plays with on its own, different modes of transport on the trekker and a small storage compartment. I don't quite know what to put in the storage compartment, it is a bit small. Its seven features are: rocker with support frame and parent handle stroller with footrest and parent handle ride on ... This a lovely well made toy. I paid about £55 for this which is quite expensive but it does last a long time. It starts off as either a rocker or it can be pushed along by the parent as it has a long handle. One of the good things about it is that it has straps to fasten your child in so my son was able to go in this from 7 months as it also has sides on it so there was no way he could fall out of it. It is very easy to push along and my son loved it but it is not very easy to steer around corners so needs to be tipped up to make turning easier. Now that my son is 18 months we have taken the sides and the straps off and he can get on ... Read the complete review

My fiancé and myself purchased the Mothercare 7 in 1 trekker for our son's first Christmas. It was priced at £70 (though I have seen it reduced to £42) We originally purchased this item as it suited from 6 months and grew with the child, hopefully meaning that he would get lots of use from it. The trekker itself is not too hard to build up although some parts (like the parent handle) are quite hard to click in. The instructions also leave a bit to be desired! It is made of plastic, which any mum will know is great when it comes to young babies/toddlers due to jammy fingers and chocolate splodges. It wipes clean easily and is very ...
