I bought this walker for my son when he was a baby as soon as he was strong enough to support himself sitting up. I chose this one because of the brightly coloured activity tray. I figured it might hold his interest for a while. It wouldn't have cost more than £35 at the time, i'm not sure how much it costs now.
It was a little tricky to put together, it took both me and my husband to figure it out but the instructions are pretty clear and when we were finished my son was very eager to play in it!
It has a large blue base and a brightly patterned seat which is removable for washing. The rest of the walker is easy just to wipe clean.
There is an activity tray which is set on a green base with patterns imprinted in the plastic and then 5 toys on the top.
There is a large bendy palm tree which has 2 mirrors attached which the baby can spin round. A round dinosaur with a rattling rolling ball inside, a purple dinosaur with scales made from crinkly material, a red flower with buttons that click and a blue dinosaur which lights up and sings song when pressed.
The toys kept my son entertained for ages, it took him a while to get the lights and sounds working and the sounds are quite quiet but once he had figured it out he loved it. The mirrors were a favourite as was the rolling ball but he didn't bother with the clicking flower very much.
Once my son got bored we were able to open out the activity tray by pulling down a latch underneath and pushing the trays to either side. This gave us a spare tray to put other toys on and we also used it for snacks as he got older.
The walker is easily collapsed, simply press a button underneath the seat and it sits flat.
The only problems I had with this walker was that although the walker had 2 height settings, both were still too high for my son to reach the floor, his legs would dangle so there was no possibilty of him using it to strengthen his legs. By the time he was able to reach the floor we found that the walker was quite heavy for him to push himself around. The front wheels would rotate fully but the back wheels would only go backwards and forwards so he wouldn't get very far! We had a wooden floor but it didn't work well on the rug so I don't think it work very well on a carpet unless the child is very strong legged.
All in all, my son loved this from the minute we first had it, it would keep him amused when I had things to do and he loved making the sounds and lights work.
