I bought this baby bouncer for my son when he was around 4 weeks old. I found I needed something to put him in, other than lie him down in his pram whilst I was doing things around the house. I bought this from Amazon for £45, which at the time I thought was so expensive, but after trawling through loads of reviews, I decided to go for it, and it was definitely worth the money. This bouncer is used every single day and I think a bouncer is essential to have for a baby!
This baby bouncer is so colourful, the actual seat is covered in pictures of the sand, sea, animals, the sun, it is so bright, however my baby does not really see this as he is sat in it and cannot see the colourful back ground he is sat on, but it makes the bouncer look nice when out in the front room! The seat is nice and padded and feels so comfortable for my baby and he always seems comfortable and enjoys being sat in it. It is wipe clean, and also comes off and can be put in the washing machine.
There are two bars that come over the seat which are adjustable. They move out of the way to the side so you can get your baby in and out the seat really easily, so they don't prevent access to the seat. These bars are great because they have little hooks which you can hang toys from, so your baby does not get bored when in this bouncer, my baby loves playing with the dangling toys and trying to pull them down.
This bouncer comes with a brilliant toy, it is a big yellow crab which hooks on to the bars with its claws. It has lights and also music which keeps my baby entertained for about an hour at a time! He can't get enough of this crab! It has a star dangling from it too, and my baby loves to pull this and also chews on it. It also has three legs on each side which crinkle, a sound my baby loves, and he often chews on these.
The seat also vibrates, you can turn this on and off, my son doesn't really seem to give me any idea of whether he likes this or not! So I don't really use this part, you can hear it humming when it's on, which annoys me!
The seat has two positions, one lying down, and one sat up a bit so your baby can see what's going on in the room. My baby has a flat part on the right side of his head which is very common now in babies due to having to sleep on their backs all the time, so I have found this bouncer useful as you can put all the toys on one bar and encourage him to look the other way so he spends more time on the other side of his head.
The bouncer itself bouncers nice and smoothly when you bounce it for your baby, my son cannot make it bounce himself though. It is strong and sturdy, and has a plastic frame which is well built and supports him well. They can go in this bouncer until they are 10 kilos, my son at 6 months is just under 8 kilos, so it does last a long time, probably until their around 10 months old.
I cannot recommend this bouncer enough, it is not just a chair for them to sit in and bounce in, it has toys to interact with and keep them interested, my son loves it so much!
