There are so many baby walkers available but i believe this is one of the best. I chose the Vtech first steps as vtech is a well known brand which i trust and i know produces quality items. The price was very reasonable at around £20. I have used it for 2 of my children and it is still showing no signs of wear!

The walker is brightly coloured with a detachable activiy panel. The panel has lots of buttons to press which produces music and lights. There is a cute butterfly and dog which can be played with and a removable plastic telephone. Along the bottom the keyboard has chunky keys which also play music and sounds when pressed. Underneath the panel are 3 spinning wheels.

I found the activity panel was great from around 6 months when i would detach it for baby to play with seperatly which they loved. The bright colours are very eye catching and there is plenty for baby to press. At around 11 months my babies started using it as a walker but some may be earlier than this. It is easy for them to push and does not tip over like many other walkers.

The walker would be improved if it had brakes on it though as when baby is playing with the activity panel whilst still attached it does have the tendency to roll backwards causing much frustration! I usually put it up against the sofa or wall if baby wants to play with the panel.

Overall i think this a great buy and something that can be passed down from child to child.

Summary: A very reasonable price for a fun, stimulating and quality item
