Boots Baby Wipes ... the interest in saving money lately, partly due to recession, partly because it s christmas coming up. I ve decided to make small changes in some of the products we use, where I feel we won t compromise on quality. We get through a lot of wipes in our house, sticky hands and faces, bottoms at nappy changing time, removing make-up, freshening up. We always have a few packs in the house, in the car and in the changing bag. Needless to say, it is a big expense in our house, with us going through on avergage at least 5 packs a week. My first choice has always been Huggies baby wipes, they are lovely and thick and do the job perfectly, I would never recommend Pampers wi... Sainsbury's Basics Baby Wipes ... been somewhat spoilt in the past by using the Boots No7 wipes, I wasn t holding my breath for these wipes to be any good. But, I m trying to save the pennies and these were such a good price so I thought I d try them! Priced at around 80p for 80 wipes this was the first thing that attracted me to them! The packaging is very basic, white with the Sainsburys trademark value orange logo and writing. At 1p a wipe though, the packaging is the last thing on my mind! From the packaging.... To Use: Peel back label and use wipes as required. Reseal label after use, this will help keep wipes moist. For best results for baby use with Sainsbury s Nappy Sacks and Sainsbury ... Tomy Splashy The Penguin ... the Penguin is a bath toy made by Tomy. It is for children aged 12 months plus and he looks great - a cute purple little thing with bright yellow feet and orange arm bands. So when I was looking for a bath toy for my son I decided that the price of about £10 wasn t bad, so I bought him. And that was where the disappointment started. The idea of the penguin is that you wind up the dial on his back and his arms are supposed to turn around and around in the water so that he splashes around. However, when you turn the dial, and let him go, he unwinds so fast that the child doesn t have time to realise what he s doing and misses the action. The penguin also has...
