	Metanium Ointment ... my son was due, I asked the mums I knew which cream I should get for my changing kit and they all said Metanium (as did Jo Frost in her Confident Baby Care book), so that s the one I chose. Metanium is a very thick, yellow cream, which needs to be applied only very sparingly to nappy rash or a sore baby bottom. We first used it when over-use of wipes had caused nappy rash. We put some on at night and by the morning, his bottom was right as rain again. When we started weaning our little one and his movements changed, we used Metanium to soothe his sore bottom and it worked extremely well once again. 	Metanium Ointment ... seems to be the best kept secret until you mention to someone else you use it and then it s oh my god it s wonderful but until then everyone seems to push sudocrem as the best cream. My son suffers with the worst blisters when he s teething, they are really sore and aggravated by just about everything. In the end I took him to see the health visitor and she suggested metanium. And it s not too much of an exaggeration to say my life changed! You only need the tiniest bit, the instructions tell you to use only enough so you can still see the skin through it. 	Metanium Ointment ... is the nappy rash cream that I swear by! As a mum of 2, who s little ones ahve both been prone to severe nappy rash at times, this is the magical cream! It is a very thick yellow ointment and goes on quite chalky, but you only need a very small ammount, spread it thinly so that you can still see the skin through it (though when it s as severe as my 2 have had it i usually start off thickly!!!). I use it at the 1st sign of redness and it seems to stop any redness in ts tracks. I have recommended this to all my friends, after trying nearly every cream possible to buy!
