Simple Baby All-In-One Wash
by lorriedriver2012 I bought the simple baby wash whilst on offer in Boots for my baby son. It appealed to me as on the packaging it said ideal for sensitive skin and it was unfragranced. Secondly, it claimed to be a no tears product. One of my biggest worries was the potential for irritation on my son's skin. I was pleasantly surprised after the ... first use. When I first opened the packaging no dreadful chemical smell came out. The packaging is very appealing, its white with clear text on the labels, making it easy to read the details you need to know. The lid is very easy to open which means even with wet hands you can access the contents easily. I also like the nozzle, it allows a slow release of contents, as you only need a small amount, rather than coming out in a big mass causing wastage. The product its self is great. It does not smell of anything. The wash mixed with water foams really well, creating a thick soapy lather. A small amount of the wash goes really far, meaning the bottle lasts along time. I have been using the same bottle for three months and its still going. The best thing of all about this product, is the fact its a all-in-one wash, means you only need this product for top to toe. No need for two or three different baby products, saving the pennies. After using this for so long my son has not had any bad reactions, which is the most important thing. Overall this product is aimed at parents looking for a fuss free bath time. I would definitely say it does what it says on the packaging, making bath time an easy unstressful everyday occurence. Simple Baby All-In-One Wash
by katyj10 With two young children, I am always on the lookout for anything that will make bath time a little more fun and amongst the toys I like to have a variety of cleaning products on the go (not the bleach style ones!). I spotted this Simple baby all in one wash and loved the tatty teddy on the label. We have used the wipes by simple with no ... problems so I was keen to try this product. Description The bottle we have is white and 300 ml. I found it on offer in Boots but have since seen it in the pound shop, I'm not sure whether they are the same size in there but this one is white plastic with a flip top lid. Inside the product is a creamy white colour with a clean but not strong smell to it. The product promises to gently clean with no tears. It has no perfume or colour in it and has natural chamomile goodness which will soothe a baby's delicate skin. In use I have used this on a flannel with our two year old and also used it in the shower on myself as a shower gel with great success. I found it to be quite moisturising on my skin and it easily provides a gentle foam too. Prior to using the Simple Baby all in one wash, we were using another all purpose wash but I do use a baby shampoo on our daughter's hair even though you could use this stuff, we don't and just use it on the body. My thoughts I have no complaints about this product and really enjoyed using it myself in the shower. It didn't leave skin dry and was nice and soft to use with some gentle foaming action. I don't use products on our new baby yet but I will definitely try this when I am ready to use products in a few months so we will definitely buy more. Price I bought this when it was on offer at Boots for around £1.50. I have since seen it in the pound shop so it can be bought cheaper. I have an out of town Boots with free parking which is easier to visit with children so often go there for a wander amongst the shelves so would buy this again if it's on offer at a reasonable price. Final word I am a big fan of the Simple line for babies. Their wipes are excellent, as is this wash and they are easy to spot with the cute tatty teddy pictured on the label. I am happy to reccomend this as a great gentle cleaning product for young kids and it also works for adults too! Read the complete review |

Simple Me to You Baby Wipes
by katyj10 This is a review of Simple Me to You Baby Wipes, which after trying almost every brand on the market I can say are my favourite wipes. It's sad when you have a favourite brand of baby wipe but I suppose it's all part of being a parent. I went through a phase of buying store's own brand but realised I was using five times as many to clear ... up mess or change a nappy so it was a bit of a false economy. What are they? The baby wipes come in packs of 80 wipes and are made by the well known facial cosmetics company Simple. They are a green pack and for some reason, the brand Simple have teamed up with the me to you tatty teddy bears for some branding on this packet. I once thought they might be a limited edition but I have been buying them for more than a year now. The claim The pack claims to have no tears formula which is important as we use these wipes to clean hands and faces as well as for nappy changes. They are alcohol free and hypoallergenic and suitable for even newborn babies. A note here. I would follow the midwives advice on this one and only use cotton wool or flannels with warm water for cleaning newborns. We did this for the first couple of months with our baby and she has beautiful skin. I tried not to use any products on her for as long as possible. The pack says that the wipes have natural chamomile goodness to sooth baby's delicate skin. So why are they my favourite? I'm not bothered about the packaging, so don't think I've fallen for the tiny tatty teddy's charms. Green's not really my colour either so it wasn't that! The pack uses the same clear sticker seal to keep the wipes fresh. I grabbed my first pack of these wipes in a bit of an emergency moment, my daughter was sick in the shop down herself and I had left the bag in the car so I grabbed a pack (in Home Bargains) and used them then and there and then paid for the opened pack at the till. I was hooked from then on. What I found about these wipes is that they are nice and moist and really do a good job cleaning up. I tend to only use one on face and hands and a couple for a nappy change (unless it's a really bad one). When we get towards the end of the pack we decant the remainder into a travel wet wipes box (for keeping handy in the highchair basket) and get a new pack out for the bag so we don't run out. Price I have seen a pack of these baby wipes priced as much as £3.99 in some supermarkets but there is no way I'd pay that! We get all ours from Home Bargains for 99p a pack and I am happy with that price. Final word We do still use other brands like Johnson's but the Simple wipes are my favourite for keeping in the changing bag when we are out and about. They stay very moist (but not dripping wet) and have no strong smell and seem to suit our daughter's skin. Read the complete review |
