Tomy Do-rae-me Dolphins ... the past ten years I ve played with a lot of bath toys and this one really stands out as different. Bath toys basically fall into three categories - cute animals, boats, or ones that squirt, pour or some other activity. These dolphins fall into the latter category; they are 8 dolphins in rubber rings, each of which plays a different note when pressed into the water. The rubber rings (actually hard plastic) link up together, so you can either form a circle or a line (or have them seperate). They look very appealing; bright rainbow colours (and yes, the rainbow is in order high-low), cute faces and they sit just on the surface of the water. The sound is brilliant... Tomy Splashy The Penguin ... The Penguin is a bath toy made by Tomy. It is recommended for children 12 months onwards and is unisex. The penguin is around 9 inches tall and is made from plastic. He is purple with a white face and white belly. He has a yellow beak, pink mohawk , big yellow feet and wears orange armbands. He s a cute little fella, I think you ll agree. My daughter was given Splashy The Penguin as a present when she was around 9 months old. Almost 2 years on and Splashy has been used during most bath times. Tomy Aqua Fun Hippo Pedalo ... m still working my way through the mountain of toys my son received for his 1st birthday. This is the latest one - it is a bath toy from Tomy called "Hippo Pedalo". What is it? Hippo Pedalo is a plastic bath toy approx 7" long by 5" wide. It consists of a yellow Pedalo boat with a rudder and a blue hippo sitting inside. What does it do? The toy has a couple of functions. Firstly, it moves along in the water (very slowly) allowing baby to follow it about, whilst it moves around the hippo sings a cute version of "O Sole Mio" (very funny the first few times you hear it) and pedals his legs.
