My first daughter was very forward with everything she did and with our second child already on the way i didnt like the prospect of two lots of nappys to change so i began toilet training her at 12 months old, which was literally as soon as she had learnt to walk and begin to talk. I didnt want to have to teach her to use a potty then begin all over again with the toilet so i brought a toilet seat from the argos which had a set of steps attached to it and two big yellow handles to hold on to at the top. My daughter loved this and thought it was realy fun to climb on and off the toilet all day so all i did was leave her pants and trousers off and ... Read the complete review

This is a great buy! It is a toilet trainer seat that fits onto the toilet with 1 step up and 2 handles (one on each side) for the child to hold on to. My 2.5 year old really likes the seat and is often asking to go on it (even though we have to yet started official potty training) it makes her feel very grown up I think. The seat is far cheaper than many other seat's of this kind and a lot easier to set up and take down than a lot of the other (better brands) that I have seen around. The quality is good durable plastic and I dont forsee any trouble with it. As for storing you simply lift it by the handles and the seat folds down alongside the step and you can ... I have just purchased this product for my three year old from Argos. It is a step that you put over the toilet enabling her to climb up andput herself on the normal toilet. This as increased her confidence as she had become upset at still using a potty or having to be lifted on to the big toilet. The step is very bright colours and actually brightens up my toilet room. The one disadvantage is every time any one else uses the toilet we have to remove it and put it back. I would recommend this product for chidren that are toilt trained but unable to reach the toilet by themselves as my daughter would say she's a big kid now!! ... Read the complete review

Oh no, toilet training. Those two little words filled me with dread. As my son approached two years of age, I vaguely wondered whether my husband would volunteer to do most of the training, after all what did I know about what little boys did in the loo? Of course – no such luck. Uncomfortable with the totally grim prospect of potties, we decided to go straight to toilet training and bought this rather nifty plastic contraption for £10 from Argos Additions (now Additions Direct, www.additionsdirect.co.uk). The bright red seat fits neatly over a normal toilet seat, providing a smaller hole so that pint-sized bottoms don’t fall through! There are two big yellow ... Read the complete review

My motherinlaw brought this from argos for Jess bday in March and it was great. It give Jess the independence of getting up on the toilet herself and she even gets it out behind the door! She is still having a few accidents but she is only 2.5 afterall. The step up seat comes flat packed and you have to fit it together. With the simple instructions, and a special key to tightened the big screws that held everything in place it was easy. You can have the step low or high all depending on your child. Its made from plastic so its easy to clean and its bight and durable. It folds away and can be kept within easy reach.Mine sits between sink and toilet,so its in easy ... Read the complete review
