Advantages: Nice smell, very soft Disadvantages: Too wet, hard to get out of packet
Although I am a fan of Asda brand products, I was disappointed with their Baby George baby wipes. I bought them as they were considerably cheaper than my usual brand,(Johnson & Johnson) but then I wished I hadn't. My first problem with them was the fact that they wouldn't fit in my wipes dispenser, but this wasn't too bad. The resealable label seemed to work quite well. Then I tried to get one out of the packet. This took a minute or so, as the wipes were tightly packed and stuck together. When I eventually got hold of the end, two wipes came out at once. I had this problem all the way down the packet. My first impression of the wipes was good. They were lovely and soft, and smelled very pleasant. When I used them, I discovered that they were so full of moisturiser they left my babys bottom dripping wet, so I then had to wipe the residue off with a tissue, which defeats the object of having soft wipes. The Johnson and Johnson wipes have always been kind to my babys bottom without being so wet. I persevered with the wipes, but my opinion of them didn't really change, although I found they were better used on dirty faces as the taste isn't as unpleasant as other wipes. I eventually gave up using them on my baby and went back to my original brand. I use them now for removing make-up. I have never found anything better for the job, and the cost is much less than buying a make-up removal product! Summary: |
