Advantages: Cheap, Strong, Aloe Vera, Clean well
Disadvantages: Last few wipes can be very wet
I've tried almost every type of baby wipe out there so I know quite a bit about them. One thing you should always note - nothing is as good for your baby as cotton wool and water!
The little angels baby wipes are quite thick compared to some which means they are strong and don't break easily when you pull them out of the packet. I tried Huggies Pure Wipes and I found these would rip extremely easily but i've never had such a problem with Asdas. You can buy them in a fragranced (the pink packet) or a fragrance free (white packet) which I think is great because it means you can choose the fragrance free if your wee toot is a little bit more sensitive that others. I tend to stick with the fragrance free as my little girl is quite sensitive and has some allergies - these are hypoallergenic and we've never had any problems with them.
These aren't quite as gentle as cotton wool and water but we all acknowledge that it isn't always practical to carry it around everywhere we go. These do have added aloe vera and baby lotion into them so they are nice and soft against your babys' skin. I've found they are fantastic for cleaning even the dirtiest nappies and you only really need a couple of them at a time rather than half the packet that some wipes seem to require.
They come with a lid on the top which makes it a bit harder for a baby to open should they grab hold of them and it enables the wipes to be securely sealed to lock the moisture in. I've bought other packets that just have the sticky resealable lid but found it stopped sticking after a few uses and my daughter loved nothing better than pulling every wipe out of the packet! She can open the lids to these ones now but the fun for her is gone and she tends to take one to wash the table with!
There are 80 wipes in a packet and the packets cost 98p each but tend to be on offer for 6 packets for £5 most of the year. This is great value for money as other packets can cost £2 a pack for exactly the same thing.
The downside for me is the wipes at the very bottom of the packet can be very wet but this isn't every packet and it is generally only the last few wipes that are affected.
Overall, I would recommend these to anyone as they are just as good, if not better, as well known brands.
Summary: I would definitely recommend these to anyone with a baby.
