Advantages: Hypo-allergenic, soft and subtle fragrance and really smooths out skin
Disadvantages: Its a white powder! You do have to be careful when using it
When it comes to talcum powder I am really not a fan of powdery white stuff on me or in my bathroom which is why I never buy it and think in my whole life I have only dabbled with the stuff a couple of times which was why the other day when my mate who is staying with me at the moment bought me this with a few other bits and pieces I was surprised, I mean she knows how I feel about talcum powder after talking about it drunk on one or two occasions I'm sure in the past 20 odd years we have known eachother lol.
However I was greatful for the thought and popped it in my bathroom for after a soak to try out as after-all this is meant for anyone who wants to use it regardless off age and not just for kiddies, although I am the first to admit I'm a naughty big kid at heart lol!
Well this comes in a white plastic tall style bottle which is curved to the centre of it for ease of use and then on the front of it we are told of course what it is and who it is by and on the back the size is stated which is 400g and contact details for Asda are listed. To the top of it there a twist on/off lid style bit with holes in it so it is easy to do up and close it and this all in all in all is rather attractive packaging and although only £1.34 a large container it really doesn't look cheap thank goodness as I hate cheap looking stuff in my bathroom!
Well you have to make sure of course that your skin is dry as this is a fine white powder and on damp/wet skin it will clog up and cake on which I found out to my peril the first time I used it. I don't shake this onto my body as it goes everywhere, instead I shake a little of the baby fragranced, very light and fresh powder into my hand and massage/stroke it into/onto my skin which to my surprise it did rather quickly and left none of the powdery white marks I used to remember the stuff giving me in my youth!
This left me with gently fresh fragranced skin though only for a couple of hours really but my skin stayed soft to the touch all day long and beyond. I would say as long as your not heavy handed with this product its fine to apply it before dark clothes though to be honest I wouldn't dare and it is suitable for all the whole family to use for really soft and clean feeling skin. A little of it goes a long way too and therefore makes this a really economical product and for me now I use this everynight, before I go to bed to really soften the skin on my feet and give them a sliky feeling that I adore!
A great buy and only available from Asda and Asda.com
