Asda Little Angels Nappy Cream

My son rarely suffers with any form of nappy rash or sore bits, only after using poor quality products or if he has had a bout of diarrhoea.

Having parents who live in France for most of the year, makes a holiday or quick trip over there cheap and easy but also means two of everything, so even though I barely use nappy cream I have a tub of this at mum and dads place, just in case!!!

The nappy cream is packaged in a white tub and is a thick white cream with the same consistency as Sudacrem. Applying this cream is easy, just dip a couple of fingers in to the mix and smooth onto the babys' bottom and into the crease at the top of the legs. The whiteness does fade a little but the cream does not fully absorb into the skin, creating a barrier from the moisture that can trigger nappy rash.

While we were in France last month Jake did experience a little bit of an upset tummy and because he was swimming and paddling in the sea every day I did take to applying the nappy cream quite regularly. A little redness did begin to develop probably from all the chlorine in the swimming pool or salt in the sea combined with his icky tummy. The nappy cream nipped it in the bud quickly and helped soothe the redness well.

Overall I was quite pleased with the results of this cream, it works quickly and effectively and is significantly cheaper than Sudacrem at 78p for a 250ml tub versus £3.35 for the same size of Sudacrem.
I am aware that if your child has significantly bad nappy rash that your GP may prescribe Sudacrem or something similar, so if you get through a lot it may be worth asking!

Summary: Nip sore bums in the bud with this...
