Advantages: Cheaper than others on the market

Disadvantages: None

To be quite honest when I had my son almost three years ago, I never considered using any nappies on him other than a brand name.

When I had my daughter four months ago I intended on doing exactly the same with her, until fate lent a hand one night about six weeks ago. We had gone to our local Asda's store to do the weekly shopping and my daughter decided to dirty her nappy.

Unfortunately I had forgotten to put her changing bag in and the only nappies they had in the baby changing room, were obviously Asdas own brand. I didn't really want to use one on her, but didn't have a lot of choice and thought that a couple of hours with one on wouldn't hurt her.

I was pleasantly surprised when I put the nappy on her as to how soft they felt against her skin. They were very easy to put on her and had deep elasticated legs, which fitted well. They basically have two velcro type tabs on the side which attach to a strip on the front of the nappy, which has cute little animals on it. I found that it didn't matter how many times I opened the nappy up, the tabs still stuck securely. There was no problem with these nappies staying up.

I also thought that as they were a cheaper brand then they wouldn't be as absorbant as more expensive brands and that even though they were cheaper, I would end up changing her every half an hour therefore using more nappies- was I wrong! I found that they were just as absorbant as other more expensive brands, and they managed to keep her bowel movements in her nappy, unlike her other nappies which would sometimes start to leak.

I'm glad I discovered these nappies and would recommend them to other parents to use. It just goes to show that you shouldn't always buy something just for the brand name.

Summary: A great nappy to try on your little one.
