Advantages: Cheaper than other supermarkets whilst still being a good standard

Disadvantages: None

I have always been put off using Asda nappies because a lot of my friends had always said how rubbish they were. I'd had no problems with Tesco own brand and I had recently been buying Sainsbury's own brand which were fine too. The reason I decided to try Asda's own was because it was a bit of a pain carrying a big bag of nappies back from Sainsburys (We got rid of our car and I do all my shoppping online) on the pram. It was just convient to have it delivered in the online shop and they were on promotion at 3 packs for £10.

I have two boys under two who are both in nappies so I will give a review on both of the sizes I use on them.

Mini size 2, 6-13lbs.
There are 46 nappies in the pack and on the packaging it says they are hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested. The nappies also have a perforated top sheet to absorb runny poop.
The nappies are soft and have pictures of little babies along the top of it on a pale yellow background.
The sticky bits are stretchy and the shape of the nappy contores to my sons body with ease. They are a great fit for him and when I do them up there are never any gaps for fluid to escape. He has on a couple of occasions leaked up his back but I think that is because his poo was particularly runny on that day. The nappies are very absorbant and I can get away with leaving them on him for a few hours in the day and he wears one for over 12hrs in the night and hasn't soaked through by morning.

Maxi size 4 15-40lbs
These nappies are also hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested. They are said to have a 'sleep dry technology' and soft flexible sides and they come in pack of 34.
They also have babies pictured on the nappy but they are covering the whole nappy area instead of just the strip. My son loves spending time looking at the babies in there cars (as if he hasn't got a million toys to play with).
They are very soft (softer than the size 2's)and the flexible sides seem to fit him with comfort.
He doesn't soak through during the day and admitedly there have been times where I have forgotton to change him and they've coped ok with that. The nappy absorbs the wee well and pulls it away from his skin so he doesnt get nappy rash.
There have been occasions where I have woken him in the morning and he has been soaked in wee but this has only happened twice so maybe the nappy wasnt on properly or he's just had a lot to drink that day.

Over all I'd say these nappies are a great buy and would definately recommend you give them a try as they are usually a little cheaper than the other supermarket brands (only by 50p but it all helps).

Summary: A great nappy which keeps my little ones dry.
