Advantages: Great quality and great value

Disadvantages: None!

We have two daughters - 3 and 1 so we've gone through our fair share of nappies over the last couple of years! With our eldest, we started off using washable nappies then moved on to disposable pull-ups when the time for potty training came. With our youngest I fully intended using the washables again as I'd loved them with our eldest but with having 2 young children to look after and a business to run I'm afraid I gave in to convenience and kept going with the disposables! Now, I'm never one to feel the need to buy the major brand of a product - I tend to find that branded goods aren't generally much different (if at all) from own brand versions and they're certainly more expensive! So, as we're usually on a bit of a budget and we tend to shop in Asda, I thought I'd give the Asda 'New Arrival' nappies a go and then we switched to Asda 'Comfort Dry' when she outgrew the newborn size nappies.

The 'New Arrival' nappies come in packs of 24 for £1.64 or 46 for £3.98 and the 'Comfort Dry' are £3.50 per pack - the number in the pack ranges from 30 to 38 depending on the size of nappies. The 'Comfort Dry' are usually also on offer - 3 packs for £10 which means if you bulk buy you can get a really good bargain! There are also 'Action Fit' nappies which are the same price as the 'Comfort Dry' but I haven't used them with my children.

The nappies (both 'New Arrival and Comfort Dry') are quite thin looking and the material used is quite soft so you can imagine they are quite comfortable for baby to wear. They are also very thin so not bulky at all. Each of the nappies has a picture design on it and the 'Comfort Dry' are predominantly green. The nappies fasten easily with tabs that have sort of grippers and aren't sticky at all.

I love these nappies! I've also used Tesco's and Sainsbury's ones which are very similar but I have to say that Asda's are my favourite and also seem to offer the best value. I have also, on occasion, tried both Pampers and Huggies nappies and I can't see any reason why they are any better than the Asda ones. I've had NO leaks with Asda nappies and none of the nappy crystals seem to have ever come out of the nappies either.

These are great value and very good quality nappies - why pay more for the branded ones when these are so good???!

Summary: Very good nappies at a very good price!
