Advantages: Cost

Disadvantages: Didnt work for us. Don't let that put you off though.

We have a (now) six week old son, and over the past weeks we have been trialing various reusable and disposable nappies. I picked up a pack of little angel Asda own brand nappies to try the cheaper end of the disposable nappy spectrum. We bought a pack of 46 size one little angels nappies for 4 pounds.

The nappies themselves look fine, the outer layer is soft, has cute pictures on the front waist band (like that helps!) and looks much like any other nappy inside. In terms of containment we weren't so happy with these. We noted that the nappy seemed to travel when on, and quite often ended up very low on the back leading to leaks.

I've looked at other reviews of these nappies and some people are quite happy with them so I am coming to the conclusion that some babies seem to fit some nappies better than others. So my advice is to try buying a single pack of these, if the containment is good then you'll save a lot of money compared to other brands.

Summary: Worth a try as they are so cheap. Baby may be the wrong shape though.

I buy these for my nine month old but find that for my two year old they dont cover himthrough the night. They are good but I think Tescos are much better.

Welcom e to dooyoo and congrats on the newborn
