Just as good as Pampers/Huggies! (Asda Nappies)

When my daughter was born I had loads of coupons for different brands of nappies, and being the sort of person that likes a bargain I - of course - used them all. But once they had ran out I had to spend full price and, to be quite honest, it almost broke the bank! Especially when she was very little because I was going through so many nappies a day that the packs soon emptied.

My dad works at Asda so when I asked him to get me some nappies one day he came back with their own brand. They were £4.99 then and still a lot cheaper than other brands. I gave them a go because they looked just as good as the real thing, and in fact they were!

They remind me more of Huggies nappies than Pampers in their style (I don't know if they are made by Huggies?). They were soft, fitted well, thick enough to absorb, thin enough for comfort. All in all I was very impressed with them, now I hardly ever buy anything else.

Since we started using them they have changed the packaging and they are now by George at Asda rather than just Asda itself. They have also dropped the price (or "rollback" as they call it!) to £4.78 for a standard pack compared with as much as £6.75 in my local chemist for Pampers and Huggies. You can also buy big boxes if you are feeling flush one week which are even better value for money.

As long as Asda are selling their nappies at a cheap price I will be happy.
