Advantages: deep elasticated legs, soft extra asorbent stay dry liner, breathable outer cover

Disadvantages: only available at Asda, not all Asda do home delivery

I signed up both for the Pampers website and the Huggies website so that I could get newsletters and money off vouchers on nappies. That way, I can buy her my two preferred brands of nappies, depending on which voucher I have when, and how fat her legs are at that point to ensure the best fit. I try to buy the bulk packages, as they last longer and cost less per nappy too. On a rare occasion, though, even these tactics are not enough when the money gets tight. On these rare occasions, or during a nappy emergency where one of us has been silly and forgotten to check nappy bag stock levels, I try to nab myself some Asda nappies.

I first tried Asda nappies through a free sample I was given. I thought, well, its one nappy, it was free, and if I hate them, I will know never to waste money on an entire package. I was very pleased at the performance of this trial nappy, so on my list it went. At £4.99 for a convenience-sized pack, it is not too terribly dear, but not all that much cheaper than Huggies or Pampers. 50 pence to £1 difference depending on where you live, and where you shop, may not sound like a huge savings, but when money is tight those little pence really add up.

As for discussing the quality and style of an Asda nappy, I am afraid Kimberly-Clark needs to look for a mole at their factory. It looks, fits, and performs just like a Huggies. branded nappy. It had the same bluish soft inner lining; the same soft double elasticised legs, and the little upside down pocket thing at the gathered back. The tapes were the same sort of design as well, being nice and wide, easy to stick, and a snap to unstick and restick. The cover is soft and breathable as well just like all the best branded nappies.

My little angel decided to try to float her way off of her bouncy chair while wearing the initial sample, and the nappy held up very well without any leakage. Her skin was also nice and surprisingly dry without any telltale irritated redness. As
our darling has very sensitive, delicate skin I was very pleased indeed. Overall I say this is a great nappy. I buy it whenever I can’t get my jumbo packs on special in order to keep our budget in line, and my precious does not suffer all.

I think Kimberlys opinion on Asda nappies is very good,i used to use Asda when my son was much younger, and i felt they were more absorbant as well as more comfortable around the legs.
