Advantages: Very absorbant, excellent fit.

Disadvantages: None can think of.

Before my daughter was born I began to stock up on essentials like nappies, wipes and toiletries. I bought four packs of Asda Newborn (24) for £2.47 each and one pack of Pampers Newbaby (48) for £6.99. To be honest I was much more impressed with the Asda nappies than the Pampers as they seemed to fit better and didn't leave any marks on the skin around the tops of her legs and her stomach, as nappies invariably do.

I have to admit that the Pampers Total Care nappies (for poo too) will absorb almost anything but they do seem to have forgotton about comfort.

Asda nappies are also quite a bit cheaper than big brand names. For instance

24 Asda Newborn nappies £2.47
28 Pampers Newborn nappies £3.78
28 Huggies Newborn nappies £3.66

Those extra four nappies seem to make the price quite a bit more expensive.

The asda nappies are always nice to look at with pictures around the waistband and are generally roomier than most other nappies.

I have never had an asda nappy leak (unlike Pampers Baby Dry!).

For a cheaper alternative to big brand names without scrimping on quality or quantity then Asdas nappies are the way to go.

People can be such snobs when it comes to their baby's bottoms. Nice to see a positive review on something a bit cheaper.
