I have a two year old son, (still in nappies, depsite many attempts to toilet train). If you just sit and have a think about how much you have spent/or will continue to spend on nappies alone, the cost can be immense, thats why i turned to a couple of good friends of mine about ways to try and save some money. One friend recommended the 'Little ...

We have a (now) six week old son, and over the past weeks we have been trialing various reusable and disposable nappies. I picked up a pack of little angel Asda own brand nappies to try the cheaper end of the disposable nappy spectrum. We bought a pack of 46 size one little angels nappies for 4 pounds. The nappies themselves look fine, ...

with us going through a credit crunch nappies are an expensive necetity!! i started looking around for cheaper nappies and trying them i first used tescos home brand of nappies but after my daughter had slept in one the morning after the nappy stunck could not put my finger on what the smell was but it was awfull. i then started using ...

Do not buy!!!!! Asda have definatly let us down on this one. I bought my son the 'ultra dry' little angels in a size 5+ and whether it was a manufactring fault or they are just all awful but after the first two that i used on him the elastic had come away from the leg of the nappy and was digging into his poor little legs, they had not kept him dry in the slightest which led to nappy rash and worst of all the tiny beads within the nappy had burst all over him and was stuck to every crevice of his skin!!!! VERY POOR QUALITY!!! ( i will definatly be sticking to sainsburys and tesco which i have had no problems with at all!!)

I first tried Asda nappies when we tried using their home delivery service over the Christmas period (Tesco had let us down!) We currently buy size 5 which are £3.97 for 30. If you compare this to Tesco own brand which are £4.29 and Pampers which are usually around £5/£6 then Asda charge a good price. We first tried the ...

One of the most popular ways to survive the credit crunch is to drop down a brand on the goods we buy and probably the most common way to do this is to buy the shops own brand of goods rather than the TV advertised commercially well-known brands. It made sense to me to use shops own brands of nappies, considering what they are used for, it's not ...

In my opinion and it seems to be quiet a comman one, asda's own brand nappies are great! They are are of just the same standard as huggies or pampers. After having used another different stores brand nappies I was not impressed at all and just stuck to mainly huggies. As my son is now one anyone with kids will understand that you cannot ...

We tried Asda Little Angels Baby Dry size 3 nappies during my whistlestop tour of all the own brands, and got on pretty well with them. We got 3 packs for £9 which is a good price. To be fair, I don't have a bad comment to make about the nappies themselves other than that I do not like the pictures on them, which by my own admission is ...

My baby is now 13 months old and I am using the Maxi Plus size. When she was much smaller, I always used the Asda Little Angels range. However in the past four or so months, due to various offers which were on, I've been using the premium brands. I have now switched, due to price, back to the Asda own brand. ...

When i had my first child i would never buy anything other than Pampers or Huggies, As i heard a lot of people going on about how rubbish own store brands were and the fact that babies always leak through them and things like that. When i had my second child, my partner did the weekly shop and came home with Asdas own brand of nappies called ...

We have two daughters - 3 and 1 so we've gone through our fair share of nappies over the last couple of years! With our eldest, we started off using washable nappies then moved on to disposable pull-ups when the time for potty training came. With our youngest I fully intended using the washables again as I'd loved them with our eldest but with ...

I have always been put off using Asda nappies because a lot of my friends had always said how rubbish they were. I'd had no problems with Tesco own brand and I had recently been buying Sainsbury's own brand which were fine too. The reason I decided to try Asda's own was because it was a bit of a pain carrying a big bag of nappies back from ...

In the recent times of trouble where money is concerned and most are feeling the pinch I think it's a good idea to give cheaper and home brands a chance to see if you can save money. This is when I first tried Asda nappies When I first thought to try them I was actually in Asda trying to decide if the best offer was pampers or Huggies. ...

ever since i was little the asda jingle has stuck in my head especially the jingling of coins when the lady pats her pocket... we never had an asda near us so when a superstore opened up just half anhour down the road as you can imagine i was very keen to sample everything they had on offer. first on my list was the nappies, im sure you will ...

Adsa nappies are great, I have not tried the smart price nappies but the 'next' ones up, little angels which are still asda's own just a little higher quality. The little angels nappies are fab, they are so much better than pampers. I usually buy Huggies but when moneys a little tight i dont mind buying asda's nappies as i know they ...

I thought I would try a shop brand nappy, as i was fed up spending loads of money on nappies all the time. I was in asda on the nappy aisle, so I bought a pack of Asda's "Little Angels" Comfort dry. I thought I would get the smallest pack size first to try them out, they cost me £3.97 for 32 nappies. I got the 4+ size ...

When my little girl was born i always stuck with pampers as it was a brand i knew and i never had any problems with them but as she grew and went into the pul ups it started to get very costly so i decided that i would give the asda pull ups a go. From the first nappy i put on i regretted it. Every single nappy leaked, not from being over full but ...

I had three kids under four years old and so have used a fair amount of nappies. I have tried all the leading brands and even terry nappies as having two in nappies at a time can be quite costly. I recently tried Asda own brand nappies having never used a supermarket own brand before. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Even ...

Asda nappies were ok for about 2 or three weeks but then my daughter started to get nappy rash and she had never had this before So we decided to change brands and go back to pampers which she then has not had nappy rash since! Shes now nearly 1 years old! These nappies do leak abit to so you have to keep a watch full eye, these are good if your ...
