Advantages: Cheap

Disadvantages: Nasty, horrible chemical smell and bad for babies skin.

You wouldn't go and buy the cheapest toilet roll on the market for yourself would you? So why would any of us consider buying the cheapest baby wipes on the market for our kiddies little delicate bottoms?

Asda smart price products are in general not that bad but there are certain things you should not try to save money on and baby products are one of them and these wipes show why.

I actually came into contact with these wipes when looking after my granddaughter, my daughter had forgot to put wipes in her changing bag and we were in the baby changing unit and the kind lady next to me offered me a few of her wipes.

Kind as she was they happened to be the worst wipes ever (Asda smart price) they smelled like chemicals and they were very wet, so wet in fact I had to dry her bum with a piece of toilet paper. Now moist wipes are good but dripping wet is not.

After only one use her little bum got sore and when we changer her at home later it looked like we had used sand paper on her bottom.

I have checked to see what these cost and at 80p for 80 wipes they are certainly cheap but they are also nasty and should be avoided at all cost.

Summary: Spend the extra for good wipes!
