Advantages: perfect in every way

Disadvantages: none

When it comes to having a baby, there are few things more annoying than buying baby wipes. Before you have a baby, you have no concept that you will need anything like this in your life, but become a parent and they become an essential. The annoying thing is that they can be VERY costly, especially when you use a lot, but these Asda ones are the answer.

With Asda's own range, I have had mixed success with quality, but let me tell you right now, these wipes pass the test.

I use these wipes for:

1) Nappy changes
2) Wiping mouth and hands after eating
3) Wiping spilt food off sofa etc
4) Cleaning my own hands after feeding / changing nappy.

Despite being a great price (74p per pack), they are NOT cheap quality. I have had my fair share of cheap and nasty wipes, and one of two things often happens:

1) The poo seeps through onto your hand (yuk)
2) Your baby's bum gets sore because the wipe is too acidic

These ASDA wipes don't suffer from either of these. They are thick enough that you don't get seepage! and have a nice smell. The chemicals are not too strong, because the skin has never got red or sore from either of my boys.

The packaging is simple, but it doesn't need to be anything else. The re-sealable sticky lid flap stays sticky for weeks, and the wipes inside stay moist and fresh. I really cannot fault these wipes, so there is NO need to buy expensive ones. At less than 1p per wipe (there are 80 in a pack), they're an absolute bargain.

IN CONCLUSION:
Excellent priced wipes that do the job perfectly.

Summary: buy them
