Advantages: great price

Disadvantages: thin material

I have two babies both in nappies and one of which is a newborn so you can imagine how many nappies i must change a day...I like to try and save money where i can and on things like something to place a dirty nappy in the cheaper the better.

These nappy bags are from Asda and come in packs of 100 for the price of 30p.The bags are part of the smart price range and come in basic packaging a white plastic bag with the product name & a teddy bear logo on the front in the same green as the asda logo. The packaging used to look like the picture shown above but this has changed recently.

The nappy bags themselves are a light blue/green in colour and feel very thin. The thiness i thought would be an issue as i didnt want the odour of the nappy coming through but as they are quite strongly scented this does not happen. They are floral scented and as i said quite strong but i dont see this as a bad thing as at the end of the day you want them to cover up the smell of the nappy. The bag has two handles which you tie together to seal the bag.

I have always used nappy bags when disposing of dirty nappies as the last thing you want is any sort of reason to attract flies to your household bins.I have also used them for getting wet bibs, dirty clothes etc home without making my changing bag dirty.

They are practical, lightweight and very efficient for the use there are intended for.I would recommend purchasing these as for 30pence you cant go on.I have had a few bags handles come off when tieing them up.I dont think this is a problem related to just these bags as i have bought other types and this has also happened.

Summary: a cheap effective nappy bag
