I first tried this product when my 3 year old was a new born and I had received a trial size tube of it in with my steriliser so thought I would give it a go. It is a cream that comes in a white tube with the avent logo and a teddy bear on the front. It has a blue flip lid. It says on the product that it contains sweet almond oil and milk proteins is Hypoallergenic and is mild enough for the most sensitive skin good job really as it's a product in the baby section. Avent Silky Liquid Talc. As a woman in the final stages of menopause I have found that I have become extremely sensative to all of the anti-perspirants on the market. Including the "no allergenic". I have in the past resorted to normal powder/talc to try and absorb underarm perspiration, but am aware of the problems with the fine powder. I bought the liquid talc and have found it to be a great success. I am not sensative to it. It does not have a strong perfume allowing me to wear perfume of my choice (not the deodourants!). My daughter is prone to flare ups of eczema which means she needs to put talc on after she’s had her bath. The problem is when she has an eczema flare up it’s usually heralding an asthma attack. Asthma sufferers (and parents!) will know when an attack is approaching the dustiness of the talc is one thing guaranteed to bring on a major coughing fit. Her usual Johnson’s Baby Powder is brilliant for soothing and drying out her weepy patches but I noticed the fine talc was making her wheeze. I needed *something* so off I toddled to Boots.
