I always buy the Avon Kids bubble bath for my granddaughters', not least because I love the sweet smell of it myself!

This comes in a small bottle but I find you don't need much squirted under the tap to get plenty of bubbles, you don't get a thick luxury lather but this is a bubble bath for children to splash around in and not their more discerning parents! You do get a nice thick layer of bubbles though and my 21 month old granddaughter loves playing in the bubbles in this bath, a tip for getting even more bubbles is to agitate the water well with your hand after pouring the bubble bath in and this will cause a lovely thick and bouncy foam.

The bubble bath is supposed to smell of blueberries but I think it is more like a bubblegum smell, similar in a way to the Aussie haircare products only much cheaper! The smell isn't very strong and doesn't linger for long but it's a lovely childlike scent and perfect for a kids product like this.

I find it to be a very cleansing bubble bath, even when my granddaughter has been crawling around in the garden she comes out of the bath squeaky clean and that is even without really scrubbing her too much. I have found stubborn dirt, especially on her knees can be easily removed by pouring a little of the bubble bath onto a sponge and rubbing lightly with this.

It's very kind to my granddaughters' skin and eyes, I'm sure the baby has gotten some in her eye by now as she splashes a lot in the bath but she has never cried out or had either of her eyes become sore. My middle granddaughter likes this bubble bath too, she's ten and sometimes suffers with sensitive skin and this has never caused any kind of reaction. Likewise when her little sister is going through a bout of nappy rash, Avon Kids bubble bath doesn't irritate it and the area actually looks soothed when she gets out of the bath.

A bottle of this bubble bath costs £2.50 from the Avon book or online, this is fill price however and it is often reduced to either half price or placed within one of those 'x'-amount for £5 offers. I rarely pay full price although this is one of those products where I would happily pay the £2.50 for it as it's an excellent product which does what it promises and smells wonderful!
