Advantages: Lovely colour choice, minimal leaks, easy to fit

Disadvantages: Sized wrap

The baby beehinds PUL wrap is an excellent choice for using over fitted nappies. It usually costs around £7-9 in an independent nappy retailer but I have found them on ebay from as little as £4 (although be warned go for the nappy shops on there to minimise your risk of counterfeit items).
It is a sized wrap coming in small (8-16lb), medium (16-32lb), large (24-32lb). This is a bit of a disadvantage because obviously as your baby grows you will need to buy a bigger wrap, which is annoying especially if you bought one size nappies (i.e. birth to potty) to be economical.

What I have found is that if you are using it over nappies in the day (i.e. changed regularly) then using the exact size is better. If you are using the wrap over a night nappy then it is usually better to use a size bigger than you would in the day. This will allow the wrap to cover the extra boosting you need to put in a night nappy to get it through 12 hours. Being a breathable PUL it will help keep your baby's bottom nice and cool unlike a disposable.

The velcro tabs are very stretchy and easy to apply even on a wriggly baby. There's quite a bit of stretch to the wrap so you can get a good fit around the tummy and the legs. It is worth mentioning that as important as weight is the size of your baby's thighs and tummy to get a good fit. For example my son is 16lb but has been in a medium for a while because he is a long baby and the small was too short. A word of warning make sure all of the nappy is underneath the wrap to avoid leaks - especially at the back!!
You can get this wrap in a variety of colours, unisex, boy and girl. I love the turquoise and red wraps. I would advise 2 or 3 wraps if you're using them full time. I have 2 because I only use them at night over my son's fitted nappies. This allows you to rinse them out and dry them before their next use.

Washing them is easy you throw them in the machine with the dirty nappies, I usually wash at 60 but you could wash them at 40. I wouldn't advise washing them any higher than 60 you would affect the quality of the fabric. I have never tumble dried them but if you do then you should expect that their life will shorten and they may eventually leak. A few hours on a washing line dries them quickly.

I have used this wrap over baby beehinds nappies and a fitted hemp nappy I made myself.

Summary: A great wrap for use over resuable nappies, reliable and it looks good too
