      Very helpful

      Cakming paste

The product is in a tub not as shown on dooyoo.

With new grandson being a welcome and frequent visitor, i like to stock up on my own goodies for when he visits. His mum said that one of the other medicated creams seems a bit harsh for his delicate little bottom, and so we looked for more of a balm rather than anything medicated.

      WHAT IS IT?...

It is advertised as being "perfect for preventing nappy rash and dermatitis. The lotion is apparently rich in pure natural active ingredients with 40% zinc oxide to moisturise and soothe the skin, and chamomile and linseed oil to soften, moisturise and soothe the skin

The product is in a box with some instructions and ingredients on the side. Inside the box there is a white plastic tub with a picture of a teddy bear on the screw on/off lid. I unscrew the lid and there is the cream, white and although I expected it to have no smell there is a very slight aroma of something floral but nothing strong and overpowering. Because it is made for babies, i don't worry about the smell and assume that it won't hurt delicate skin.

It is an intensive calming paste so when I dip in my finger, is very thick. It does however rub easily onto the skin and although at first it seems to just sit on the skin, but it does penetrate the skin quite easily and when I apply it and by the time the nappy is on, there is no layer of paste on baby's bottom. It's actually important that the paste is not absorbed straight away so that there is a film left on baby's bottom to prevent the skin from any nappy rash.

      HOW TO USE IT...

A thin layer of the paste should be spread over skin which is at risk of nappy rash and irritation. Care should be taken to get the cream into all the little folds in the skin. The cream should be reapplied at each nappy change, once the skin has been thoroughly cleaned.

I bought a 150ml tub of the stuff for £4.99, which is great value- it's good stuff and only a tiny omount is needed at each nappy change. I believe it can be bought online at www.babycoccole.co.uk but I bought mine from tkmaxx. It is made in Italy and I don't really know how widely available it is in the uk.

This is a lovely soothing cream for babies bottoms! Since using this there have been no botty problems, with no irritation at all. The cream is thick but easy to apply, and leaves no nasty thick layer of paste on the skin, but is still thick enough to leave a protective layer.
I have no idea what the very faint smell is but it has clearly caused no skin irritations, which I didn't think it would as it has been produced for sensitive skin.
Until I bought it I had never heard of these products but I am very impressed and will be buying some of the other products.

An excellent product, which i would recommend.

      Thanks for reading.

      Daniela xx
