I was very keen to use reuseable nappies, both to help the environment and save myself money. I did a lot of research into the types of nappies available and looked out for recommendations. These Bambino Mio nappies were cheaper than some of the other options, and were also recommended to me by a friend who had been using them for nearly a year. ... Read the complete review

When I was pregnant with my first child I never gave any thought to what type of nappy I would use with my child, I just assumed that I would use disposable, however when my son was around 3 months old, I was doing some shopping in the city and decided to pop into the library. As I entered the library a woman approached me, she asked me what ... Read the complete review

That was what really got me thinking about what a legacy we're leaving for our kids and made my husband and I determined to use reusable nappies. So far, so good, but then you start to realise what huges choices you've still got to make! There are more nappy systems out there than you can shake a wet botty at, and you've got to take the plunge ... Read the complete review

These are environmentally firendly unbleached cotton nappies. They come in two parts - a waterproof outer wrap that fastens with Velcro, not unlike a disposable, and a pre-folded and stitched inner absorbent layer. You fold the inner layer into thirds, lay it on the wrap, and put it on the baby. They weren't difficult to put on and fitted ... Read the complete review

I never thought that I would ever use cloth nappies as I was very adverse to the idea of scraping out pooey nappies!, as far as I was concerned I was quite happy to sling the used nappies in the bin and forget about them! However, things changed since the birth of my second child. I started to get a bit worried by how many nappies were going ... Read the complete review

I used Bambino Mio prefolds when my daughter was about 4 weeks old I chose them because they had trial packets in a local store for just £10. The wraps were great and the prefolds did their job but unfortunately my daughter is a very heavy wetter and I had to change her prefolds every hour, not a very good start to reusable nappies. It didn't ... Read the complete review

When my second son was born I decided to try and be more enviromentally friendly by trying reuseable nappies. I tryed several brands by using trail offers but found the Bambio Mio to be the most cost effective and easy to use. This is a 2 piece system of nappy with the cloth nappy and an outer cover, which means you don't have ... Read the complete review

When we were expecting our first child (now aged 2 1/2 yrs), I convinced my husband that reuseable nappies were the way to go. I didn't like the idea of dispoables - too expensive; use too many resources (a cup and a half of oil per nappy apparently) and spent years decaying in land fill sites. So £180 later I had a complete set of ... Read the complete review

I have been using Bambino Mio prefolds since August and am totally converted. (They are rectangular cotton nappies made with layers of cotton. You fold them into three and place inside a waterproof wrap.) To start with I did have problems with leakage, but I was keen to use cloth and persevered and I’m so glad that I did. (With washing, ... I have recently puchased a variety of shaped washable nappies, a comvenient alternative to terry nappies. They are wonderful, I never run out they wash and dry quickly, they fit well and my toddler finds them comfortable, or rather he doesn't take them off! My baby tends to be very wet and they are yet to leak which I found was a problem even ... Read the complete review
