Advantages: great quality nappy

Disadvantages: hard to find anywhere.

Well I must admit that when Benneton first came out with these nappies I didn't give them a second look. I was happy with the brand I was using and I was not all that mad on the idea of a clothing company making nappies (felt like to much designer going everywhere I thought). BUT we have just been away on holiday (in Denmark) and I didn't bring nappies with me having decided to buy them there. The Benneton nappies where the ones that came in the smallest pack so I bought them for my 8 month old thinking for one week they will be fine. Well they where GREAT. No nappy rash no marks from anything rubbing her anyplace, and a happy little girl. After the first change where a little of the yellow nappy was peeping out and I thought that she had done a massive number 2 and I had a good laugh over it I actually started to like the design. I guess that once you find the humour in a situation it always looks nicer.

Well we came home again with 10 nappies and we went back to our old brand and.. Nappy rash same day. back into the Benneton nappy no rash.. Now my problem is that my local Sainsbury's no longer stocks them and well now I want some but I have NO idea where to get them..

A great nappy I will definitely be buying them again (IF I can find them <g>)

I also think they are great but now use Premiums or the new Pampers 'sensitive' ones due to the worry of pollutants but I have seen them on sale very cheap in most small chemist shops.......which is prob why they are now so cheap.

I was just searching for these Nappies through a search engine and I think I have found the reason Sainsburys don't stock them anymore, take a look at this website:

www.gre enpeace.org/pressreleases /toxics/2000may192.html

They say the nappies are one of many that are contaminated with a hormome pollutant (whatever that is!). So I don't think you'll be able to buy any more.

Lonnie why not put in a request for them at your local Sainsbury's. They might get some in for you.
