... prevent moisture from being absorbed into the nappy. I have not had this problem at all with Bepanthen. When my son has had a touch of nappy rash, I found that after applying Bepanthen at each change the rash would clear up in less than a day. This cream is non-drying, unlike other nappy creams I have tried, and leaves my son's skin feeling soft and smooth. My only complaint about Bepanthen is that it comes in metal tubes similar to the tubes that are used for tomato puree or the kind of tubes that toothpaste us...more

Premium Review Bepanthen Nappy Rash Ointment: Nappy Rash and Tattoo wonder cream! (509 words)

Firstly I would like to say a massive Thank you to my Dad who introduced me to this cream last week as he was using it on his new tattoo. My 5 month old little boy had been suffering with the runs and as a restult his bottom has become very very sore and was starting to blead in places. I was using Sudacrem to try and treat it but after my 3 year old got his hands on it and it in now all over the carpet I had to use Savlon which was in my cupboard. When I arrived at my parents house the following day my Dad saw the state of my little mans bottom and suggested trying out his new cream. I decided to give it a go as it could not do it any worse than it ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Protects baby's bottom (305 words)

I discovered 'Bepanthen' through a friend who had recently had a baby, when she bought me a pack of baby care essentials that she had found to be really useful. I had already bought some tesco nappy cream, so I decided to put the bepanthen into my baby bag to use when out and about as it was an easy size to pack. I was, therefore, using both nappy creams. It was not long, however, before the bepanthen become the main household nappy cream and another tube was purchased to go into the travelling bag. Compared to the tesco cream, the bepanthen was easy to apply and easy to remove from the tube. I tended to find that the tub of tesco cream was harder ...  Read the complete review

Crowned Review Bepanthen Nappy Rash Ointment: Smooth as a baby's........ (597 words)

Smooth as a baby's bottom I am not really a great advocate of creams for babies' bottoms but there are occasions when I find I have to use something to ease the irritation. Generally I change the nappy often and in between changes leave the nappy off and let my baby kick his legs for a while which he enjoys very much and also allows his bottom to be exposed to the fresh air. My son is now nearly six months old and I am on my second tube of Bepanthen nappy care ointment. Most of the time I don't need to use anything on his bottom but I find that now he is cutting his teeth his bum does break out with a slight nappy rash. For me I wash his bottom in ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A cure for sore little bottoms (542 words)

After dabbling with Sudocrem and Johnson's Nappy Cream, I settled on Bepanthen as my nappy cream of choice and found it by far the best on the market. Bepanthen can be used not only to care for nappy rash but also to guard against it occurring. It is extremely gentle so can be used at every nappy change and contains no colours, fragrances, preservatives or antiseptics so is suitable for use on sensitive skin. It is white in colour but once applied it becomes clear. It is very easy to apply and you only need to use a small amount. My son is not prone to nappy rash but has had a few short bouts of it, usually when he has been teething. I found ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Bepanthen Nappy Rash Ointment: Bepanthen nappy care ointment makes everything peachy again! (639 words)
by - written on 19/10/09 (Very useful, 33 readings)

I first encountered Bepanthen nappy care ointment when I found a (tiny) free sample of it in the Bounty Pack I received during my stay in hospital following the birth of my daughter. I remember that it wasn't the ONLY nappy cream sample in the bag, and I thought 'Why have they given me this stuff, she's only 2 days old, and anyway, couldn't they have put something a bit more exciting in here?'. I shoved the samples in a drawer when I eventually got home from the hospital, and promptly forgot all about them. A few months later, our daughter started teething, and her bottom suddenly became very sore indeed. We started off using Sudocrem and, although that ...  Read the complete review
