When i think of best quality nappy rash cream, my thoughts immediately turn to Bepanthen. A wet or dirty nappy is the most common cause of nappy rash, but not always . I had assumed that once my son was out of nappies we'd have no need for nappy care ointment cream at all. Sometimes his skin is irritated when he pulls his pants up without wiping at all, drinks too much orange juice, after bubblebath etc.

I was very pleased to find how useful and gentle is Bepanthen. Cream is suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive and allergic. It is suitable for premature babies,too. This rich, calming formule will leave baby skin feeling silky smooth and surely reduces redness and irritation. Product is fragrance free and contains no preservatives, colours or antiseptics. Like other nappy creams it is a water in oil emulsion and contains 5% pro vitamin B5.

It is a good idea to apply cream at every nappy change as cream forms protective barrier. Cream is very greasy and i found it difficult to wash off all residue from skin and clothes . Application is easy : apply a thin layer of cream to the baby's skin. Then wash your hands or use hand wipes. Cream is easy to use when traveling,too.
