Advantages: Cleared it up within a few days

Disadvantages: Expensive

We usually use sudocrem for nappy rash, however after using some cheaper wipes it gave my son terrible nappy rash and would scream whenever we tried to change his bum and sudocrem just didn't seem to be doing the job. This was when I noticed Bepanthen on the shelves at Tesco's. I had heard of the name and so picked it up as it was specially designed for nappy rash I decided to buy it. I have to admit it was quite expensive at just under £5 for a tube, however I just wanted to ease my boys discomfort!

As you squeeze it out you'll notice that it is slightly oily, however it rubs into the skin really well and it must have provided instance relief to my boy as he didn't mind me applying it. This cream is medicated so it helps with nappy rash even more then just barrier creams.

I found within a day of using this cream that the nappy rash was clearing up really well and the redness went down. Within a couple of days it was totally gone.

Even though this cream is expensive I was pleased that you don't need to use a lot as a little goes a long way.

We have since kept this for the 'emergency' cases of nappy rash rather then a day to day cream.

Overall I would recommend this as it really helped sooth my boys nappy rash.

Summary: Brilliant for a sore bum
