Advantages: Nice size, secure zip fastenings, looks nice

Disadvantages: Changing mat is poor quality

The Blooming Marvellous Tartan Changing Bag (not the rucksack), is the nappy bag that I use. I find it to be just the right size, and I can hook it onto my pushchair. (Any bigger and of course I would fill it, but then I not be able to find anything.) The pockets are zipped which I prefer for extra security, and it looks nice too. It comes with the standard plastic pocket with a zip for dirty clothes etc.
The only problem with it is the mat that neatly fastens over the top with poppers. Looks nice, but the plastic around the poppers seems to tear, however careful you are. The first one I had, I took back to the shop and they replaced it immediately, but the second had done the same thing within 24hrs. Now I use the mat from my discarded Blooming Marvellous Rucksack (see the opinion on this too) and just stick it inside.
So although now I am happy, I wouldn’t recommend this product unless you have some other suitable mat to change your baby on.

Ps can't seem to write another opinion in the same area, so I've added my thoughts on the Blooming Marvellous Tartan Rucksack as a commentary below...

The Blooming Marvellous Tartan Rucksack is, in my opinion, completely useless for use as a nappy bag (the purpose for which it is sold).
The front pocket, (according to the catalogue) is supposed to be handy for keys and small change, but I wouldn’t even put anything as valuable as a dummy in there, because the Velcro doesn’t stay shut, especially if worn on your back - a lesson I learnt the hard way.
Inside, the main bag is only split into two compartments, so I could never find anything in amongst the nappies/wipes/toys/dummie s/tissues/purse… 230; It also does not fasten securely; no good for wearing on your back if you’re concerned about pick-pockets.
It does come with a changing mat that I do still use however, with a different bag, and a plastic pocket with a zip for dirty clothes etc. Handy I suppose, but I think most changing bags have these don’t they?
